Papiloma. Treatment

Papilloma is a special kind of tumor. It develops directly from the epithelium and represents a small papilla on the surface of the skin. Most often, papillomas are found on the body. True, these benign formations also exist on the mucous membrane. It provokes the appearance of such papilloma papilloma virus.

Papiloma. Treatment with drugs

Not always getting rid of such ailment requires surgical intervention. Also, it is not always necessary to immediately remove the emerging tumors. Often, the treatment of papilloma involves the use of conservative methods. First of all, they are aimed at greatly increasing the immunity of the patient, as well as fighting the virus. Self-medication is rather a contraindication for such a disease. On the contrary, the whole scheme of taking medicines should be made exclusively by a professional doctor.

Sometimes with papillomas apply special drugs, which necessarily include interferon. Certainly, in some quantity this substance is produced by the body on its own. However, in order to cope with the virus, it is necessary to receive it from the outside. The drug enters the bloodstream and then exerts its effect on the entire body as a whole. There is only one "but" in the use of such drugs. They are able to cause allergic reactions. Therefore, it is not recommended to take "Viferon", "Reaferon" or other similar medications independently. Their appointment is only for the doctor.

If papilloma appears, treatment implies, in some cases, the use of an antiviral drug. One of them is the so-called "Podophyllotoxin", which leads to necrosis of neoplasms. Immunomodulators are not used to get rid of papilla. Rather, they are appointed after the treatment, which has led to a positive result. In this case, such drugs will avoid the appearance of complications and simply help to increase immunity.

Papiloma. Treatment destructive

Getting rid of new forms of destructive nature is aimed at their complete destruction. In this case, a chemical method can be used that involves the use of special substances. For example, the drug "Solkovagin" relieves such tumors in the vagina, and means "Solkoderm" - on the surface of the skin.

There are a number of methods that imply a physical effect on papillomas:

- electrocoagulation. In this case, a rather unpleasant new growth, like papilloma, will be treated with the help of an electric current. This option is rather painful, and the wounds on the body heal for quite a long time;

- cryodestruction refers to more gentle methods of removing papilla. The effect on the papillae occurs via liquid nitrogen. The sores heal quickly, leaving no traces. True, this method is not effective at all if papillomas occur on the cervix;

Laser therapy is considered to be a popular and effective method today . After exposure, the laser quickly heals the place where the papilloma was. Treatment also helps remove neoplasms not only of a single character. At the same time, scarring does not remain. And the recovery period for patients will last only 1-2 months;

- With the help of radiosurgery, papilloma is also often removed today. It is easy to treat this way. This method allows you to quickly carry out the operation, but it is completely painless. In this case, relapse can not be feared;

- painful, but effective removal of papillomas is carried out by the usual surgical procedure with the help of a scalpel.

What to do after removing the papilla?

Once obtained papilloma virus from the body will never disappear. After all, while medicine is powerless before getting rid of it. All treatment is aimed exclusively at removing neoplasms. In the future, it is necessary to use drugs that will remove from the body at least part of the virus. This is promoted by special gels and creams. They help to maintain the patient's immunity. In addition, these funds prevent the further appearance of papilla.
