When building new housing, as well as repairing the old one, it is necessary to use such an important tool as a paintbrush. Without it, it is simply impossible to paint the most diverse surfaces. The quality of paints and varnishes, of course, plays a huge role in creating quality surfaces, but a bad paint brush can ruin the best coloring matter. It just looks terrible on the walls of the paint, in which the hairs left were. A bad tool can leave unsightly stains or unevenly paint the surface, so certain requirements are imposed on it.

The paintbrush should well recruit and hold the coloring material. The best is the one with which when dipped in the container does not drip paint. Another important feature of a good brush is its ability to apply a colorant to the surface. At the same time, the contractor should not make any additional adjustments for even distribution of the paint.

The paintbrush should have comfortable handles. They can be wooden or plastic. They have a special clip (plastic or metal), which prevents paint from entering the handle area (even with vertical staining). Any paint brush is made from hairs on which the quality of the painting depends. They can be natural (from pig bristles, horsehair), artificial or from various mixed fibers. Natural fibers are distinguished by color: light, gray, black.

A rigid paint brush made of pig bristle is considered an ideal option for most repairs. The popularity of this tool is determined by the structure of these hairs. They have a conical shape, which allows you to type a sufficient number of colorants on the brush and spray them less. As a result of using such a tool, ideally painted surfaces are obtained. Such a paint brush has a rather high price. It is suitable for almost any paint and varnish work. Chests made of horsehair are cheaper at cost. They wear out more quickly, and the hairs lose their elasticity and fall off. From the worn out brushes the paint drips.

The cheapest tools are made of synthetic fibers. With the right treatment, they serve for a very long time, but their main drawback is that the artificial hairs gain little color, it drips with them. When working with such a tool, the consumption of materials and the duration of work are significantly increased.

On sale you can find tools of different sizes and shapes. So, a paint brush round is used for painting doors, windows, profile or flat surfaces. It is impossible to paint large surfaces with such a tool. Paint brush flat is intended for painting and varnishing of large areas (doors, furniture).

There are other tools of this kind, designed to perform some specific work. So, for painting hard-to-reach places (pipes, heating radiators, wire constructions), special brushes are used. Bent at a certain angle a special clamp with a bunch of bristles and a very long handle - their distinctive features.

On sale there are such large paint brushes: whitewashing (it is used for priming and painting large surfaces); Mahovaya (has a bristle length of up to 180 mm and a long handle, is used to handle large areas); Flitsevaya (width up to 100 mm, it is used for alignment of poorly painted surfaces).

The smallest paint brushes are paneled. They are round, have a diameter of 6-18 mm. They are made of soft hairs, squirrels, a badger and a column. Use paneled brushes for applying stencilled drawings, painting hard-to-reach places, drawing out panels.
