Liquid plastic - the field of application

The phrase "liquid plastic" is familiar to many, but not all are well aware of its capabilities. Today I would like to talk about where and how this technology is applied.

Interior decoration materials

Polymer acrylic water-dispersion paints are also known as "liquid plastic". They can be used for painting any surfaces other than the floor. Suitable for exterior and interior decoration works, such as inclined roofing based on composite mineral materials, brick walls, wooden and plywood constructions, particle board, MDF, fiberboard. In addition, acrylic paints are considered to be ideal for wallpaper for painting.

The coating liquid plastic has a lot of advantages. First of all, this is an economical application and high operational and technical characteristics.
The resulting film has a high elasticity, light and water resistance, does not deteriorate under the influence of aggressive detergents. The service life of the coating is not less than ten years. Smooth surface with a pleasant glossy shine looks elegant and presentable.

Enamel "liquid plastic" for anticorrosion treatment

This material has a high adhesion to metals, which means that the coating will remain on the treated surface for a long time. The second significant advantage is the possibility of applying paint directly to rust-damaged surfaces without the use of a primer. Anticorrosive properties of the material make it possible to avoid the re-appearance of rust.

As a rule, enamels "liquid plastic" are used to protect pipelines and other engineering structures from metal, including safes and racks, cars, fences, canopies.

Liquid plastic for PVC windows

Not so long ago a new product, Cosmofen Plus, appeared in Russian building material stores. It is a one-component adhesive based on polyvinyl chloride.

Experts recommend the use of "liquid plastic" when installing window structures. It allows you to fill the gaps in the connection zones as evenly as possible. This method is also called diffusion welding. The mating surfaces after the glue dry out turn into practically a single monolith.
The film after curing retains sufficient elasticity, is resistant to mechanical action. Gripping of the adhesive occurs within 2-4 minutes, the final drying takes about a day.

Before the production of work, we recommend taking care of very good ventilation, as Cosmofen Plus has a sharp chemical smell, which causes a severe headache.

The surfaces intended for bonding need preliminary preparation. First remove dust, dirt, small particles of plastic or lime with a normal damp cloth. Then degrease with a special liquid "Kosmofen" or acetone. On the glue pack this information is not indicated, but it has been established by experience that this operation is necessary.

Liquid plastic for cars

Any car owner wants to protect his property to the maximum. It is desirable that the car not only not be corroded, but also retains an attractive appearance as long as possible. Liquid plastic - a universal tool for non-treatment, which meets all the requirements of modern motorists.

Let's see how the process of applying the polymer layer looks. First, the car is thoroughly washed with special compounds to clean all pores and microcracks from contamination. Then the surface is degreased, dried and a layer of polymer is applied. Penetrating into the pores, it smooths out any unevenness, forming a protective water-repellent layer. Thus, the mechanical action from sand particles, chemical reagents, rain or snow falls on the polymer layer, and the paintwork remains the most protected under any conditions.
