Growth is seen in the cabin CX5. The scarlet hands of the speedometer and tachometer are gone. The color scheme has changed dramatically. Now the lighting devices are made in a stunningly white-lunar color. Soft plastic and a monitor in the center of the front panel, which displays a picture of the navigation system and other indications - all this plays into the hands of the new model. She does not try to appear clockwork, energetic, youthful, but in return gives much more - a sense of good quality, and in the most expensive versions, even luxury.

The choice of engines is not so great yet, but most importantly, the buyer can choose between the petrol and diesel option. And besides this between the mechanical and automatic transmission. And the gasoline engine seems to continue the theme of tranquility. Two liters, 150 horsepower - this is rather a sufficient minimum for such a car. The rotations are dialed smoothly, accompanied by a completely ordinary drone. It's boring. And let the transfer in the case of the "mechanics" switch with weapons-like clarity - this all the same does not save. The automatic box is also good. There is no loss in dynamics in comparison with mechanical one at all. So apparently it is the "machine" that will stand on most versions. But the diesel engine is already able to awaken the desire to go actively. A narrow working range is a thing of the past.

Diesel on the Mazda CX5 is ready to disperse the car from almost idle and up to the red zone. The traction in the whole range of revolutions is excellent. Absolutely different impression from the same power as the gasoline engine. For this it is already possible to forgive the fact that Mazda even small irregularities pass a little stiffer than you expect. Manageability is traditionally good. And let the rolls are large, but this does not prevent the car from standing clearly on the arc and, if necessary, driving into the turns to discharge the gas. It remains only to refine the reactive force on the steering wheel. Apoc of information from the road is not enough. Here is the first "pancake" for the company Mazda in the sector of compact crossovers. It turned out to be quite edible, even with some taste, which is characteristic exclusively for this Japanese company. So if prices are at the level of competitors, success can be no doubt.

CX5 we are loved by many and there is no doubt - love over the years will only get stronger.
