Ontotest in Israel

Oncological diseases are today one of the most dangerous threats to the health and life of modern man. And, despite the fact that universal, equally effective means for each patient does not exist yet, new methods and development of diagnostics, as well as treatment, appear quite often recently.

In the treatment of cancer, correct and timely diagnosis is important not only in the initial examination, but also at each stage of treatment, to monitor changes in the activity and properties of cancer cells. Under the influence of chemotherapy, immune therapy, radiotherapy, and other powerful therapeutic strategies, cancer cells undergo changes, and it is very important to track them in time to make changes to the curative program.

One of the new methods of diagnosing cancer was introduced in Israeli clinics. Paying attention to the fact that the individual characteristics of the body react differently to the development of cancer tumors, Israeli specialists proposed a completely new diagnostic technique, which was called an oncological test, or a CAN test.

A key feature of the CAN ontotest in Israel is the re-creation in a laboratory environment of a medium close in properties and biological activity to the environment of the patient's body. In this medium is placed a sample of a patient's tissue, taken with a biopsy. Further, doctors work on this sample with various anti-cancer medicines to determine the set of drugs, as well as the procedures that will be most effective for this patient, taking into account his individual immune characteristics.

The CAN test determines the sensitivity and activity of cancers and allows predicting the effectiveness of the selected individual treatment strategy with a high degree of probability. The CAN test allows to avoid in advance the less effective procedures that have a depressing effect on the patient's body as a whole, and to achieve recovery, as they say, with little blood.

CAN oncological test in Israel has been successfully tested on more than two thousand cancer patients and is becoming the basic standard used in the diagnosis of cancer. The results of the oncological test are usually provided ten days after the biopsy and a sample of the tissue of the affected organ of the patient is provided.

The CAN test, along with the methods of molecular oncology in Israel, opens a new stage in the struggle between man and cancer. Methods of treatment in oncology are becoming more accurate, more manageable and increasingly meaningful. More and more patients are getting hope for complete healing and a return to their normal full life.
