Oat cookies

The benefits and nutritionality of oats are known to everyone. Oat grains or oats made from it are widely used in cooking. They cook porridge, jelly, or bake oatmeal cookies. The main ingredient in the dish is the main ingredient - the Hercules. But such components as dried berries (cranberries, cherries or raisins), as well as nuts not only enrich the taste, but also add their own useful nutrients.

How to cook oatmeal cookies? Each experienced hostess has her own proven recipe. But the cooking tips given in this article will be useful and will make your diet more diverse.

Recipe 1

Oatmeal cookies will always turn out different if you use dried cherries or dried cranberries instead of raisins. Products for 20-24 cookies:

  • 1 glass of walnut kernels, which are washed and fried, each half of the nut kernel is cut into 4-6 pieces;
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened at room temperature;
  • 1 cup light brown sugar;
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar;
  • 1 egg;
  • ¾ cup of flour;
  • ½ teaspoon of tea powder for baking;
  • ½ teaspoon of tea;
  • ½ tablespoon of ground tea cinnamon;
  • 3 cups of oatmeal;
  • 1 cup of raisins (can be replaced with dried cranberries or dried cherries).

The oven is heated to 175 C. The sheet is lined with parchment paper. Mix the butter and sugar in a bowl of the mixer until a homogeneous and smooth mass is obtained. Drive in the egg and vanilla sugar, mix. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt and ground cinnamon. Mix the whipped sugar with the sugar mixture and combine the two mixtures. Pour oat and dried berries and mix quickly. Form the cookies and spread on the sheet. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown, bake should be soft, and in the center to stay a little wet.

Recipe 2

Simple and delicious oatmeal cookies can be prepared quickly. It is useful and the children eat it with more pleasure than oatmeal. Ingredients:

  • 1 glass of creamy softened butter;
  • 1 cup of brown sugar;
  • 1 glass of white sugar;
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 2 cups of flour;
  • 1 teaspoon of tea powder for baking;
  • 1 tablespoon of tea salt;
  • 1 ½ tablespoons of tea ground cinnamon;
  • 3 glasses of oatmeal.

In a bowl, grind along with the butter sugar white and brown. Drive in one egg, stirring well, and then vanilla. In another bowl, mix the flour, salt, baking powder and cinnamon, combine with the oil mixture. Add the Hercules. The resulting homogeneous mass is covered with a lid and put in the cold for an hour. Preheat the oven to 190 C. Sheets are lined with parchment paper. The dough is made into balls the size of a walnut nut, spread on a sheet. Puncture each cookie in several places with a fork with the adhered sugar. Bake for about 10 minutes.

How to bake oatmeal cookies? This is not an ordinary recipe: it will require honey, and butter replaces vegetable oils. Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cup of oatmeal;
  • 1 cup of flour;
  • 1 teaspoon of tea powder for baking;
  • ½ teaspoon of tea;
  • 1 table spoon of cinnamon;
  • ½ tablespoon of crushed nutmeg;
  • ½ cup of honey;
  • ½ cup vegetable oil (corn, grape seed or olive);
  • 1 table spoon of treacle;
  • 1 egg (whisk with 1 tablespoon of table water);
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar;
  • ½ cup of raisins;
  • ½ cup of walnuts (cook, as in recipe 1).

In one bowl, mix all ingredients dry, and in another bowl - all liquid (honey is measured with the same glass as vegetable oil, after oil it does not stick to the glass and it can easily be poured into a bowl). Combine both mixtures. Add raisins and walnuts, mix. If the mixture is too wet, sprinkle a little flour. Cool 20 minutes into the refrigerator. Preheat the oven to 165 C (the temperature is low because of honey). Spread a teaspoon of biscuits on a sheet of parchment paper. Bake for 20 minutes until golden in the bottom of the biscuit. After the oatmeal cookies cool down a little, it will be especially tasty.
