Nikolai Valuev - "Russian giant" was born on August 21, 1973 in Leningrad (St. Petersburg) in the family of ordinary factory workers. Parents could not even imagine that their only beloved son would become the owner of such extraordinary, rare and unusual physical data. They themselves are of average height. And their son Nicholas was born small.

The weight of the newborn was 3200 grams, and the height was only 52 cm. However, it began to grow rapidly in primary school. In the first grade, Valuev's growth almost reached the height of the teacher's growth.

Successful basketball lessons in his childhood helped him become the champion of the country in the category of young men in this sport. In 2009, Valuev and a group of like-minded coaches created a wonderful "School of Contemporary Boxing Nikolay Valuev" for teenagers and young people. Branches of this school were established in St. Petersburg and throughout the Leningrad region. Three types of groups are formed: for schoolchildren, pupils of 3-5 classes, pupils of 6-8 classes and even for more adults. For the last group were opened sports and recreation sections with elements of classical boxing.

Many pupils of this school already participate and even win in boxing competitions and in the boxing tournament "Cup of Valuev", held in St. Petersburg regularly.

Valuev believes that while he is moving normally and while he has at least some forces, he will try to do something.

Recently, Nikolai Valuev can be seen in commercials and advertisements. He repeatedly agreed to appear in the photo and video advertising of various goods and services.
