New Year's games for children - let's make a holiday ourselves!

In the last hours of the old year, when the table is already laid, the Christmas tree is dressed up, and all the guests are gathered at the table, it's time to spend New Year's games for children. I want to share my experience in organizing such a small children's holiday.

It was assumed the presence of four children aged 5-6 years, not to the extent of active, very curious and jumping.

Preparation

Now there is no problem with finding information. As one friend said: "Google to help you." I spent several hours monitoring various resources with the search query "New Year's games for children at home." And in the end made a list of the most attractive simple entertainment.

New Year Games for Children

1. "The frozen stream"

For this game you will need a roll of ordinary foil. We spread from the foil the path from room to room - it turns out a beautiful "frozen stream". The task of the child is to cross this brook without stumbling. If children are older, it can be a bit complicated: invite them to move "from shore to shore" with their backs or with blindfolds.

2. "Snowballs"

In advance it is necessary to prepare "snowballs" from pieces of cotton wool. Children are divided into two teams, hand the same number of "snowballs". The task - to throw snowballs on the side of the enemy as quickly as possible. By the way, adults are also happy to rush "snowballs". At the end of the game, the opposite task: to collect as many snowballs as possible in the baskets. So the room will turn out to be clean, and the children will additionally have fun.

3. Riddles

I chose 6-7 riddles about the new year. So, in the answers were "Christmas tree", "Santa Claus", "snowflake", etc. The most interesting are the rhymed riddles.

4. "Letter to Grandfather Frost"

Procurement - blank letter with missing words. Children are invited to name any adjectives - somewhere around ten. These adjectives are written into the form letter. And then he reads the finished work. We got very funny, something like "Green Santa Claus! We, the even girl Katya and the big boy Kolya decided to write you a sausage letter "... The children really love this kind of humor, our people laughed till they fell.

5. "Chef"

The plot is as follows: The Snow Maiden decided that on New Year's Eve she would adhere to a special diet - to eat only the food that begins with the first letter of her name ("c"). And children should come up with what it is possible to feed the Snow Maiden (soup, juice, sugar, salad, etc.)

6. "Beans or peas?"

Children are divided into two teams: beans and peas. On the tray, mixed beans and peas are poured. And now every team should gather their beans as fast as possible.

And a separate block for us were New Year's games for children with the ball.

7. "From the half-word"

The adult becomes in a circle with the children and in turn throws each ball, calling both halves of the word. The child must quickly come up with the ending of the word and throw the ball over to the adult. It was interesting for several children to call the same syllable "dream", so they came up with different options: Snow Maiden, snowfall, snowflake.

8. "Earth-water-air-fire"

The adult calls one of the four elements and throws the ball to the child. If "water" - then the child should come up with the name of fish, "air" - birds, "earth" - animal, "fire" - turn around on one leg.

Conducting

The plot and instructions for each contest I printed on a separate sheet. Then she quietly agreed with the adults present and gave each one a game. Entertainment we alternated this way: with the words - mobile - with the ball - calm. As a result, both children and adults received a lot of fun. Well, the holiday went beyond the boring sitting at the table with drinks and snacks.
