About the theater

The theater of the musical on Bagrationovskaya began its creative career in 2012. His first production was "Times Do not Choose." The libretto for this musical was written by A. Kortnev and M. Shvydky. This production is still on the stage of the theater.

In 2012, the second performance was presented. It is called "Waste". The authors of music and the libretto are A. Shavrin and M. Leonidov. In December 2015 the production was closed.

In 2013 the repertoire replenished with the revue "Life is beautiful!". In the play you can hear the rock, dance hits, patriotic songs of the Soviet era, romances, arias from operettas and lyrical ballads.

In the 2014-2015 season, the Moscow Musical Theater pleased the viewer with a new production. This is the fairy tale "All About Cinderella". The performance became a visiting card of the theater and even received the "Golden Mask".

This season saw the premiere of the rock opera Crime and Punishment. This event was timed to coincide with the 150th anniversary of this novel. The music for the play was written by Eduard Artemiev. The director Andrei Konchalovsky put it.

Building

The Moscow Musical Theater is located in the legendary Filevsky Park. The building in which it functions, formerly belonged to the Gorbunov Palace of Culture. It was built in 1938. The musical theater in Bagrationovskaya in October 2014 presented to the audience its version of the well-known fairy tale about Cinderella. The music for the production was written by Raymond Pauls. The play is intended for spectators from twelve years old. Producers argue that such a Cinderella, as they have, no one has ever seen. The performance of the theater of the musical is not a familiar fairy tale, but a story about the rage of the day about our life and about all of us. Mutual grievances, irrepressible ambitions, a desire to unleash a war only from boredom, distrustfulness of good people to this cruel world. This is not quite a fairy tale. Here there is love, and even a little bit of politics.

In 2016, the musical "All About Cinderella" was awarded the Golden Mask Award. She received the actress Oksana Kostetskaya, the performer of the party of the Godfather, in the nomination "Best Actress".

How to get there
