Milan Baros is the star of the Czech attack

Milan Baros was born on October 29, 1981 in the Czech Republic, and from an early age it was already clear that he would achieve success in football. At the age of six he started attending the football academy of the local club, at ten he went to a more advanced academy, and at twelve he finally found himself in another city, at the academy of the famous Banik club in Ostrava. It is with this team that the first years of the talented striker will be connected.

Most likely, you've already heard about who Milan Baros is. Many, perhaps, even found his game (although he still plays to this day, but not at that level). But if not, then this article is for you. Here you will find out what career path this Czech football player has made, which has become one of the few representatives of his country who have won the Champions League trophy. It should be noted right away that it belongs to that golden generation of Czechs who could seriously compete for medals at the European Championships. Unfortunately, now the Czech team is already far from such results, and the last player, belonging to that era and still playing for the national team, is goalkeeper Petr Cech. But now it's not about him.

Carier start

So, Milo Baroš began his professional career in the above-mentioned "Banik" club from the city of Ostrava - for him he performed since 1998, when he was called to the main team from the youth team, and until 2002. During this time, the young talent managed to prove himself from the best side: he had 76 matches, although he was very few years old, and scored 23 goals. Naturally, such a bright talent could not help attracting the attention of the leading clubs in Europe. Everyone understood that "Banik" is only the starting club for the jump of a great football genius. And in the winter of 2002, the 20-year-old striker received offers from different clubs, but most of all he was attracted to the English "Liverpool", with which he decided to link his career. So began the rise of the Czech striker. As a result, Milan Baros became the hero of his country.

Career at Liverpool

In 2002, "Liverpool" laid out for the 20-year-old player seven million euros - an impressive at the time the amount for a player who has not shown anything at the highest level. But "Liverpool" has not lost - footballer Baroš Milan began to show very high-quality football, although not immediately entrenched in the basis of the club. In total, the Czech held 68 games for Liverpool, in which 19 goals scored - far from the most impressive statistics. And although Baroche greatly helped his club in the conquest of trophies, he was forced to leave the team after three and a half years. 24-year-old striker, who at that time was one of the promising talents, for nine million euros from "Liverpool" bought "Aston Villa". Baroš Milan, whose biography was just beginning, went down, and this, unfortunately, did not have the best impact on his future career.

Short term in Aston Villa

In the new club, Milan Baros, striker with a big name, was delayed for a little while. Only a year and a half he spent at the Aston Villa. In the winter of 2007, after 42 games and just nine goals, the club management decided to get rid of the player. And those who wanted to be found - the French "Lyon" agreed to sign a contract with a Czech player, but decided not to pay money for it, but to exchange it for his forward John Carew. So Baros moved to France.

Complete failure

However, this transfer was one of the worst in the history of the "Lyon" - for the year, Baroche practically did not show anything, scoring only seven goals. Naturally, this did not suit the leadership of the club, who decided to send the Czech Republic back to England, this time to Portsmouth.

Rent at Portsmouth

But even this did not help - half a year Milan spent in this English club, but during this time he entered the field only twelve times. And never once hit the opponent's gate. Naturally, Portsmouth did not want to buy out the rights to the football player. Especially given that the "Lyon" asked for it at least five million euros. The club wanted at least somehow to justify the fact that John Carew left the club in fact, just without giving anything in return.

The heyday in the Galatasaray

Baros's career all this time developed not in the best way, and from a talented young striker he turned into mediocrity, and thus not the first youth. After all, in Portsmouth the player turned 27 years old. Fortunately for the "Lyon" and for Baros, there was a club from Turkey, who wanted to pay the required five million euros for the Czech striker. It was Galatasaray. And it was here that Baroche managed to reveal himself as he did not even reveal himself in Liverpool. In Turkey, the Czech spent a happy four and a half years, during which he played 93 games and scored 48 goals - so Baros's talent unfolded at the end of his career. At the end of 2012, when the football player was already 31 years old, the head coach of the club honestly told him that he no longer needed his services, and in the winter of 2013 Milan moved to his native club "Banik" in the status of a free agent.

Sunset career

For his native club after the return of Milan played only 12 matches, scoring in them five goals, three of which - in one match. But in the summer of the same year Baros decided to return to Turkey: he was invited by the club Antalyaspor. However, there were no problems: for half a year Milan played only 13 matches and scored two goals, because of what the contract with him was terminated prematurely. After seven months of interruption, Baroche in September 2014 for the third time in his career signed a contract for a year with "Banik", played 11 games there and scored two more goals. And after the contract he moved to another Czech club - "Mladu" from Boleslav. There he played for the last season 21 matches, scoring six goals, and he has another year of the current contract.
