Amiodarone is recommended for the prevention and treatment of paroxysmal rhythm disorders: ventricular arrhythmias, life threatening, ventricular fibrillation, supraventricular arrhythmias (most often with the inability or ineffectiveness of another treatment). Indications include angina, parasystole, arrhythmia in chronic heart or coronary insufficiency, ventricular and atrial extrasystole, paroxysm of flutter and atrial fibrillation.

The drug "Amiodarone" in tableted form is recommended for oral administration before meals. Dosage on the average - 0,6-0,8 g for two or three doses. After five to fifteen days, the dose is reduced to 0.3-0.4 grams per day. After the patient is transferred to supportive treatment. Dosage in this case is set on average - 0.2-0.3 grams per day.
