If the buckwheat is darker, then it is prepared faster, and if it is light, then a little longer. You can not even try porridge. Already in appearance it is clear when it is almost ready: it increases in size by almost 2 times, but the seeds are still quite whole. At this stage, its consistency is slightly undercooked. Important: a little water should remain in the pan! Approximately 1/4 of the weight of buckwheat at the moment. If it's less, add the right amount. If the liquid is much larger, it means that the fire was very slow. Try to drain the excess. To do this, close the pan with a lid, holding it with a towel, and gently drain some water. Be careful: do not burn and do not scatter porridge!

Buckwheat crumbly porridge is almost ready. If you are not going to put butter in a ready-made dish, then add one teaspoon of vegetable at this stage. When oil is poured, carefully mix and tightly close the lid. Turn off the fire and allow the porridge to stay in the heat for about 10-15 minutes. Delicious and useful buckwheat ready! It fits perfectly with milk and is suitable as a side dish for meat and vegetable dishes.
