Lemmy Kilmister, founder of the Motörhead rock group: biography, creativity
The main instrument of our hero is a guitar. Lemmy Kilmister is a British bassist, vocalist, and permanent member and founder of the Motörhead rock band. His stage image and special rudeness of voice made this man one of the most recognizable and cult figures in his genre. In 2010, the music industry decided to pay tribute to our hero and created a documentary film called Lemmy. He for three years was created in Hollywood in the house of the guitarist, as well as in different parts of the world, where he gave his concerts.
Childhood
Later, my grandmother and mother went to Madelai, Stetfordshire. There, the family settled. When the boy was 10 years old, his mother became the wife of George Willys. He already had two children born in the first marriage - Tony and Patricia. Then the family went to a farm in North Wales, Benlekh, and began to live there. It was during this period that our hero demonstrated interest in rock'n'roll, as well as horses and girls. He was sent to a school in Ammukh. There he received a nickname.
After graduation to school, he moved with his family to Conwy. I started working at the factory Hotpoint. In addition, he became a guitarist for local bands and attended a riding school. When our hero was 17 years old, he met the girl Kathy. Together with her moved to Stockport. Soon they had a son with Kathy. He was called Sean. Later, he decided to give up for adoption.
early years
Living in Manchester in an apartment with a band, the musician met Tracy. The girl gave birth to his son. He was given the name Paul. The musician did not take any part in the upbringing of his child until he was six.
Wanting to do more, our hero in 1967 went to London. He became a manager in the band The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Joined in 1968 to Sam Gopal, recorded the record Escalator, as well as the single Horse. After the meeting of our hero with Simon King took place on the territory of the Chelsea shopping center, he became a member of the Opal Butterfly group. So began his professional career Lemmy Kilmister. Quotations from an interview of that time indicate that it was at this time that he came to the idea of taking the surname of his stepfather. However, he refused this idea, because he decided that changing the passport and a number of other documents is too troublesome.
Hawkwind
Bryan Town noted that the real headache was to keep the wild bass player on disciplinary boundaries, to force him to come to concerts, and then how to play there. However, the effort paid off when the musician climbed the stage, as he brought with himself an energy storm in image and sound. The unique style of playing, as well as singing in a high-raised microphone over the years became Kilmister's "handwriting." It was with our hero that the band recorded the strongest, as well as the most famous albums.
Changes in the composition led to a radical change in the sound of the collective. Hawkwind retained the blues-fatal psychedelia, but consistently toughened and increased rhythm. However, the turning point for the band was the release of a single called Silver Machine. It was released in 1972. In the charts, the work won the third place. The first version of the single was recorded on February 13. Then the vocal part was taken over by Robert Calvert - the author of the text.
Motörhead
Then our hero chose the option Motörhead, based on the name of the last song he composed for Hawkwind. In slang, this term means "biker", in another version - amphetamines. For greater aesthetics, the musician decided to write the word through "o", adding the letter to the umlaut. Our hero radically changed the style of music. With this team, the guitarist has achieved worldwide recognition. It turned into one of the symbols of hard rock.
The band achieved the greatest popularity in the 1980s, when the Ace of Spades received the golden status and took the fourth place in the British charts. In addition, No Sleep 'til Hammersmith's live album took first place only five days after the release. These works have consolidated the reputation of Motörhead project as one of the main British hard rock bands of their time.

He was 70 years old. The cause of his departure was an aggressive form of cancer. She was diagnosed by the musician just 2 days before her death. Later it turned out that it was prostate cancer.
