Before you make flowers from Foamiran, you need to prepare everything you need. You can buy a set for scrapbooking, which includes a thin plastic suede. It is not necessary to use natural tones to create a bouquet. If you show your imagination and work out the details, buds of any color will look natural. To create hydrangeas from foamiran we will use a material 5 mm thick.

The color shade is chosen independently. In nature, the inflorescence of this shrub often happens in blue, pink or white. If you take a white foamiran for work, it is easy to cram with oil pastel and give the colors of hydrangeas almost any shade. The color is applied to the petals on both sides. To make the bud more natural, for each leaf it is necessary to apply an oil pastel of several colors. When using a blue material, the center of the flower is covered with a white pastel, crosswise drawing two thick lines along the petals, and then applying small strokes across them. We do this on all blanks, including on double sheets.

Drawing a pattern and re-staining the petals

To apply the texture to the hydrangea from foamiran we will use the mold in the form of a sheet. If it is not, you can make a mold with your own hands from polymer clay or take corrugated paper with a similar structure.

1. We heat the details on the iron: we bring the petal to the tip of the sole and then apply it to the mold, making an impression.
2. Repeat on all the petals on both sides, turning them over. We apply the structure to all the blanks.
3. Now we paint the flowers again, but for this we use the green pastel. We tint the edges of the leaves.
4. We put a violet pastel, covering completely all parts of the workpiece, except the middle.

The coating makes the veins on the petals more noticeable and adds an inflorescence of naturalness. You can use a dry pastel, applying and shading it with a brush.

Assemblage of inflorescence

When all the elements are painted, in the center of each flower you need to make a hole for the stamen with an awl or burner. After processing all the blanks, we begin to shape them, chopping the petals several times and twisting them between the fingers. Then straighten the flower, heat it on the iron and bend the edges of each petal, folding and pulling it in half. Should get a sharp bend.

We start to collect flowers: we put a transparent glue on the tip of the stamen and put on it one detail with four petals or two with a pair. You can make terry inflorescences. Then we fasten the ready florets to each other, forming a bouquet. We fix it with wire. The knife is closed with corrugated paper or floral tape. If desired, you can add leaves to the composition. They are cut out from the fameiran green and applied to the structure in the same way as the petals of the flowers. To fix the bouquet to the underside of the leaves, the wire is glued. Now the product is ready for use in floral compositions or for creating ornaments.
