How to prepare a salad with smoked bacon: three recipes to choose from

If in your family the most favorite dishes are meat, then you can diversify your daily menu by making a salad with a smoked bacon. In this article, recipes for this delicious, hearty mix are given, which is sure to please not only your family, but also the guests, because this treat is also suitable for a festive menu. The ingredients are simple and affordable, and you can choose the filling to your taste: mayonnaise, plain or low-fat, sour cream or natural yogurt is the most dietary option.

Recipe # 1: Salad with smoked ham and beans

This dish may well become a full-fledged second for lunch, as it is quite substantial and contains a large amount of protein, both animal and vegetable. For 2-3 servings you will need:

  • 100 gr. Canned beans, it is better to take red;
  • 1 smoked chicken leg;
  • 2 fresh medium-sized cucumbers;
  • 2 hard-boiled chicken eggs;
  • 10 pieces of prunes and a handful of walnuts (these ingredients can be added as you wish);
  • Greens - parsley or onions;
  • Several tablespoons of mayonnaise.

In a large bowl, mix the washed canned beans, as well as diced meat, eggs and cucumbers. Prunes, nuts and greens also crumble in small pieces and send to the rest of the ingredients. Fill the resulting salad with smoked chicken with a couple of tablespoons of mayonnaise, salt to taste (very carefully: usually the meat is already quite salty), pepper and mix thoroughly. Done, you can serve to the table. By the way, you can try to cook this dish not only with chicken meat, but also with smoked beef, pork or with a leg of turkey. In any case, it will be very satisfying and tasty.

Recipe # 2: Salad with smoked ham and potatoes

This dish can rightfully be called the winter version of the previous one, because among its ingredients there are salted cucumbers, and potatoes, and cheese. Caution: because of these ingredients, this salad is extremely caloric. For him, get out of the refrigerator:

  • 1 leg;
  • 4 potatoes of medium size;
  • 2 boiled eggs;
  • 2-3 salted cucumbers of medium size;
  • 100 grams of grated cheese;
  • Greens to taste (parsley, dill, onions);
  • Mayonnaise for refueling.

This is not a simple salad with a smoked bacon, its recipe is unusual, because you do not need to boil potatoes for it (as we usually do, for example, for olive and similar winter salads), but fry. Four tubers cut into straws and quickly fry in large quantities of oil on high heat, as they do when cooking French fries. Next, cleanse the bones and skin of the leg, cut into cubes, do the same with eggs and cucumbers. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients, add grated cheese, fresh herbs to taste, season with mayonnaise, salt and pepper. The resulting salad can be decorated with olives or olives, a sprig of parsley or bright strips of Bulgarian pepper.

Festive salad with smoked ham (with photo)

This dish is guaranteed to be popular among your guests, because it is not only delicious, but also unusual: to the meat are added not the usual vegetables, but the overseas pineapple. Ingredients in this version, you can not mix, but simply lay in layers. For several servings of salad, take:

  • 150 gr. Smoked chicken meat (meaning weight without boned, skin, etc.);
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 small can of canned pineapple (you need 4-5 rings);
  • 100 gr. Cheese and as many chopped walnuts;
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs;
  • Mayonnaise for refueling.

Prepare the ingredients: cut chicken and pineapple into thin slices, onion - half rings, chop the egg whites on a grater, and chop the yolks into a crumb. Now lay in a bowl layers: squirrels, then meat, the third layer will be mayonnaise, after it - onions, then - pineapples, mayonnaise again, grated cheese, yolks, mayonnaise on top, and then sprinkle with walnuts. This salad will look especially good if it is served in a transparent dish, and the layers of the main ingredients are made equal in size. Now you have three delicious meals, which you can cook with a regular smoked ham.
