How to make a yamobur with your own hands: step by step instruction

Construction of something, installation of a fence - for all this, certainly, a drill is necessary. With the help of it, summer residents also check the level of groundwater. It's no secret that you can pay money to someone else's uncle, who will come with his instrument and dig a hole in the ground. You can also rent this equipment. But why not make your own instrument, and what is the sequence of all the upcoming actions? Next, you will find all the necessary information on how to make a yamobur with your own hands.

Tool - with own hand

The standard diameter is about 260 mm. Well, if we decided to make a handmade yamobur with our own hands, then the flight of fantasies is not limited. The diameter of the yamobur can be very different, depending on the purpose for which it is created, and what they will do. Dimensions are completely dependent on the width of the blades. And, therefore, no matter what size was conceived, you need to sketch a sketch. Repair at the dacha is a great occasion to make a yam-beet with your own hands. Drawings can be done by yourself.

Choosing the right design

First, we distinguish between the purpose of the drill. The drill is made either of reinforced or ordinary construction. The difference between these two designs is palpable:

  • the weight;
  • Volume;
  • Possibility of transportation;
  • Latitude of use;
  • Convenience of storage.

For a typical small design, you will need:

  • metal;
  • A sharp blade made from the spring of the machine.

Construction collection

In this way, you can collect a real ordinary yamobur. To do this, we weld the blades to the metal from the machine spring, we obtain the finished blades. The blades should resemble the structure and structure of the ax. So, so that when drilling, the blades do not bend, and all the roots that have fallen are cut. Such a yamobur, made with its own hands, is suitable for digging pits no more than 1.5 meters in depth.

For a more complex design, the pylon is supplemented with a larger diameter tube or a metal sheet that is wrapped around a circle of blades, creating a screw. One of these reinforcements is firmly welded to the main shaft or blades. The yamobur, made by own hands under the powerful scheme, differs from a borer of the usual design with its blades, twisted like a spiral staircase. This gives a great deal of strength. The blades will not be dulled, but arched, they will still take their original position and will not break.

It is desirable to make the handle of the Yamobura removable, then in case of an additional increase in height it will be possible to add more tubes or change to a handle of a larger size. When manufacturing the handle for the Yamobura, it is necessary to provide that it is possible, perhaps, to insert a lever in it to create an additional force moment.

Advice: after it is completely assembled by the yamobur with your own hands, it is recommended to red-hot it and put it in the engine oil. Such a treatment will give more strength and flexibility to the Yamorobor.

Preparatory stage

As already understood, manual yamobur - an indispensable thing, without which simply can not do in the garden, construction or repairing matters. In the summer resort the drill is needed for the planting of seedlings and trees, for pouring foundation supports, for replacing fence posts, etc. And, of course, for economy, we advise not to buy or rent it, but to make one. It will be much cheaper than those that stand on the shelves of specialized construction stores. But for any endeavor, especially in an unusual and not yet familiar case, you will need a good and detailed briefing.

It is necessary to prepare in advance all the tools that may be needed in the course of the work, so that later do not be distracted and do not run after every trifle.

Instruments:

  1. Drill.
  2. Emery wheel.
  3. Smooth and even fittings.
  4. Lathe.
  5. Steel sheet.
  6. Welding.
  7. A piece of gas pipe.

Yamogor his own hands. Instructions

  1. It is necessary first of all to fulfill all the preparations. For this, we cut out future blades from steel sheet. The diameter of the blades should be 5 mm larger than the desired dimensions of the pit. In principle, it can be anything. Before starting work it is better to decide what you will be drilling, and how wide the holes are supposed to be. You can also make blades of different diameters.
  2. In each prepared blade, it is necessary to drill holes, where the armature will enter (the base for the drill). The holes are 1 mm larger than the diameter of the reinforcement itself.
  3. To make steel bushings. This will require a lathe. Next, drill 2 radial holes in the prepared bushing. And in the holes you need to cut the thread. Thus, through them, with the help of a bolt or nut, the blades will be connected to the main armature.
  4. Using an emery wheel, cut out a small sector on the blades. The outer ends of the sector are pulled in such a way to get a screw surface. From the bottom, the cut must be sharpened at an angle of 45 or 60 degrees. At this stage, the blades from the blanks turned into ready-cutting blades.
  5. Emery circle we make flats on the reinforcement depth of about 3 mm. Lyski it is desirable to do, retreating from the edges of the rack 8-10 centimeters.
  6. The lower end of the bar will also need to be sharpened. The angle of sharpening is 25-30 0 . In the same place we form grooves in the form of a spiral. For this we need to use a cutting circle.
  7. At the end of the rack, you can still weld a drill for metal. Due to this, the installation of the drill will better enter into the dense soil and will not break.
  8. To the armature - the stand of our drill - we attach the handle, preferably removable. On the stand, the handle can be attached with a bushing.

Tip: for drilling to a depth of more than 2 meters you will need additional elements. These elements are called knees. They should be made from the same reinforcement as the main core of the drill. So, it will be possible at any time to add the height of the drill and, on the contrary, to shorten it.

Yamobor for a tractor

Like a regular Yamogur with their own hands, a tool is made for the tractor for the same purpose. The only difference between them is that a man manages a hand drill, and a tractor motor works on a motor thrust. So, you do not have to call for help from a neighbor or someone else. The tractor will help to overcome even the hardest soil.

Unlike the hand drill, the main rod needs to be fastened to the canopy and clutch with the tractor.

Electric Yamogoor with own hands

The electric yamobur is the same usual tool, only equipped with an electric drive. Electrical installation also facilitates human work. An electric yamobur is not always a connection to a network. Often in such units use as a source of energy diesel fuel, gasoline or gas.

An electric drill can be tried from a drill (a 2 kW Rebir is well suited) and a screw. In this case, the drill has a third cone, and, therefore, you need a lathe to make grooves from one side and the other. To the adapter you need to weld a drill with a third cone, but cut off the drilling part.

The design turns out to be very massive, and it's hard to handle one by hand. Lift the equipment better by using an electric winch, and install a radiator on the thyristor.
