Dutch Atria - cabbage for everyone

Russian cuisine is very difficult to imagine without cabbage. Mistresses extinguish it, scrape, salt and marinate, add to borsch. In addition to excellent taste, cabbage contains many useful vitamins, fiber and various trace elements. In our climatic conditions, plant seeds are most often planted in open ground. Vegetable culture in growing is not very whimsical, but requires fertile soil and proper watering. Cabbage is stored for a long time, without losing any useful substances and flavoring properties.

Dutch cabbage seeds

Currently, the products of foreign breeders enjoy considerable popularity not only among modern recreational dancers, but also among the majority of farmers who cultivate cabbage on a professional level. And the main secret of such success is very simple - Dutch seeds are of high quality, good germination and yield. In addition, they are endowed with the following set of advantages:

  • Exactly correspond to the claimed variety;
  • Resistant to diseases and pathogenic microorganisms;
  • Require less care and top dressing;
  • Are productive;
  • Have an excellent marketable appearance and a long shelf life;
  • Genetically not modified.

The cost of Dutch seeds is higher than domestic ones. But it pays off with interest at the expense of a large amount of harvest.

Cabbage Atria: description

The plant is characterized by active growth and compact size. Kochan large enough, leveled, roundish-flat, with a small stump. Weight of one head from 3,5 to 8 kg. The internal structure of the matured head is of high density. The color of the cabbage is blue-green outside, inside - greenish-white. Rosette leaves small in size, raised. Atria (cabbage) has leaves of concave form, dark, gray-green, average size. The vesicularity is either completely absent or insignificant.

Main advantages of the variety

Atria - cabbage, which has a number of advantages, the main among which:

  • Excellent taste of ripened products.
  • Good indicators of the density of the head at the stage of maturity.
  • Yields largely depend on agricultural technology and can reach an average of 35-100 tons / ha.
  • Resistance to a number of diseases and pests: gray rot, fusarium, thrips.
  • Elevated levels of head evenness.
  • Friendly formation of a quality crop.
  • Atria - cabbage with high resistance of maturing heads to cracking.

Landing

Cabbage Atria F1 is grown in two ways: through seedlings and sowing into the soil. The best time to plant is April. Seeds are sown from each other at a distance of 1 cm, to a depth of at least 1 cm. Picks are performed when the first embryonic leaves appear (after about 10 days). The time of disembarkation into open soil depends on the rate of germination of the seedlings (about May 10-25). During this period the soil is already warming up, and the danger of nocturnal frosts passes. The optimum planting scheme is 60 x 40 cm.

Cultivation

Cabbage is a very hygrophilous plant, requiring abundant and regular watering. Fertilization is also required. The plant is fertilized in cloudy weather after watering. It must be remembered that organic or chemical substances can not be poured into dry soil, as preparations will burn roots.

As an additional fertilizer, you can use ashes, which simultaneously help in the fight against pests. For this purpose, once a week , cabbage leaves are dusted with ashes. Do it best after watering, rain or in the morning, when the leaves are still wet. The ash will adhere well to all the leaves.

Harvesting

The yield of cabbage Atria F1, like other varieties, largely depends on the correctness of care. So, from one square meter you can collect from 4 to 8, and in some cases even up to 10 kilograms of harvest.
