How to install the electrical shield?

Before installing the switchboards, it is necessary to draw up a project, which will be used to distribute the transmission lines. Consumers are grouped by machine according to capacity. Here it should be noted that some household appliances require better protection against short circuits, therefore, considering the wiring, it is necessary to take this into account and mount for these devices individual highly sensitive automata.

In terms of dimensions, the electrical panel is calculated according to the modularity. One module is 18 mm. In other words, a single-phase automatic machine will be 18 mm wide, two-phase machine - 36 mm and so on. In this case, the use of RCD should be meaningful. Do not use a differential automaton to power the lighting or sockets. They are used for instruments of high sensitivity to earth faults. Such devices are rarely found in everyday life, so the RCD is not always suitable for installing home electrical wiring.

The shield of the electric built-in type looks better than the cumbersome bulging structure, but for this it is necessary to hollow the niche under the housing in the wall. Some montors recommend the installation of a hinged shield made of a plastic box. At the same time, it looks rather elegant, and its installation is simple.

When installing the switchboard, it is necessary to arrange free access to the machines, so the structure should be placed in spacious rooms on free vertical supports.

The electrical enclosure is mounted by means of anchors and special stamped holes for them. In the shield body, sometimes you have to drill the holes yourself. When everything is ready for fixing, the casing is mounted, evaluated, it is fixed evenly, then it is removed. Then the machine is mounted on a DIN rail. In addition, you can separate the jumpers and prepare a place for cable entry.

If it is decided to install the electrical panel of the built-in version, then you have to work, because, in addition to simply assembling the automatic devices and fixing the cables to them, you have to hollow out a niche in order to fit the shield body in it. But it's aesthetic and saves space.

Work on the preparation of the installation site is better entrusted to the specialist, since on the way of the bump stop, there will necessarily be armaments or old electrical wires. After installation, proceed to assembly.

If mounting is carried out in a niche, it is necessary to prepare a sleeve for cable entry into the built-in shield. This is done in several ways, however, deciding on the reconstruction of the wall, it would be wrong to run power lines somewhere along the plinth or on the walls.

After everything is ready, it remains to install the electrical shield on the prepared place, while it should already be mounted all the necessary machines, and the cable must be brought to the point of entry.

It is worth remembering that the layout of the wire around the apartment should be marked, and for greater confidence you can get rid of the veins. The shield should be earthed, as, indeed, and the sockets, so it is recommended to throw the cable with the redundant cores.

To install machines for convenience, it should be left to right, top to bottom. The first is an introductory automaton, and further installation is performed at the current rating - from higher to lower.
