How to cook chips at home

In our time, almost everywhere and quite often you can meet with the discussion of the harm of chips. A lot of talk and write about this. Therefore, even illiterate people may know that they are made from a mixture of starches and fried on reusable vegetable oil. But this does not stop either children or adults from using such harmful food. What kind of alternative can this be? Undoubtedly, it is necessary to prepare chips at home, since it is not only quick and tasty, but also useful.

Consider some recipes for how chips are prepared at home.

1. Potato chips.

Ingredients: one kilogram of potatoes (even), one liter of oil for frying, salt and spices.

Potatoes are cleaned and well washed, and then thinly sliced. In Kazan, pour oil and put on fire. When the oil starts to boil, raw chips are put in it (at home it is recommended to use only fresh oil) and fry. In doing so, they must be completely immersed in oil and their quantity should not be large.

Portion is taken out, salted and peppered, add favorite spices, which are on the market today, a large number. The second portion is put in the same oil (you can add a little of the latter), and so on.

2. Corn chips.

Ingredients: twenty corn cakes, two tablespoons of salt, one spoonful of cayenne pepper, one spoonful of black pepper, one lime, two spoons of olive oil. Two spoons of cumin, two spoons of olive oil.

Buns are cut into triangles, put in a bag, add olive oil, salt, cumin, pepper and lime juice, shake well.

On the baking sheet spread the chips and bake for fifteen minutes, mixing several times.

3. Meat chips.

Ingredients: raw smoked pork.

Meat is very thinly sliced. On the table put a plastic film, on top of the meat, cover with the other end of the film and beat off with a kitchen hammer. Then the meat is rolled out with a rolling pin so that its size increases twofold.

The resulting raw chips (at home they can be seasoned with any spices) are laid out on a grate and dried in an oven at a temperature of one hundred degrees for about an hour, turning over to the other side after forty-thirty minutes.

4. Vegetable chips.

Ingredients: two carrots, two beets, one celery root, one lemon juice, one glass of vegetable oil, large salt.

The celery root is cut into four parts, the beets into two, then everything is cut into thin plates, and the carrots are cut into wide ribbons. Vegetables are laid on different bowls filled with cold water with the addition of lemon juice, and leave for half an hour in a cold place. Then they are discarded in a colander and dried with napkins, while the slices must be completely dry.

In the dishes, warm the oil and fry in small portions for several minutes, then spread on a napkin, so that the glass is all oil, and only then the chips are sprinkled with salt.

Thus, it will be much tastier and more useful if you cook chips at home. The variety of recipes makes it possible to get the dish that is most to your liking. In addition, children will appreciate it, as the taste of home chips will not be inferior to those of the shop.
