Horse Tourism in Russia

Recently, equestrian tourism in Russia is gaining more and more fans, it is most common in the Altai and equestrian tours on Lake Baikal are widely represented. Today we go to the great and mysterious Altai.

Further we will see the North Chuysky Range, its main peaks Kurkure, Maash-Bash and Karagem-Bash. Looking back we can see the valley of the Chuya River. This way will take us six hours.

On the third day we go out to the large glacier of Altai Maasheysky. Passing from the lake to the glacier, we pass by powerful waterfalls, huge rock embankments and clean mountain rivers. After lunch we go out to the "Lake Alenina". Afterwards there will be a tiring recovery and the reward will be a view of the waterfalls and the mountain lake. On this day, the journey will take us eight hours.

On the fourth day we will go down to the tract of Esthikkel. Tourists call the tract "wandering bog". On the river Shabaga we reach the place of confluence with another river called Shavla. We will be on the road for six hours.

On the fifth day, we will continue to move along the river Shavle. The last kilometers of the route will be on higher slopes. And we will see the Lower Shavlinsky Lake located at an altitude of 1983 meters. There are parking lots on the edge of the lake decorated by tourists. The journey will take six hours.

On the sixth day we will rest on Shavlinsky lake. There is a luxury fishing on the Shawla River. You can walk along the glacier and the path will take seven hours.

On the seventh day, we will walk along the Shavla River valley to the Shabaga river in six hours. The eighth day of the horse trekking is final, we will rise in the tract of Yoshtykkel along the Shabaga river. We will leave on pass Oroj and we will go down to village Chibit, this way will occupy six hours.

On the tenth day, we will move to the village of Barangol, where the bathhouse will wait for us and pamper everyone with a farewell dinner, after which we will be taken to Barnaul.

Horse tours are held from May to October.
