In 2010, in the autumn, he told in an interview about this law that people in uniform should work in the police, guided only by public interests, and not by their own pocket. He told the correspondent that it is not worth paying attention to the costs of implementing this law, if only there was a benefit. In the people, the police themselves discredited themselves somewhat, so renaming it into the police should be a real step in reforming the Internal Affairs Department, which is extremely necessary for the development of the modern Russian state, Gurov thought.
