Childhood

Military service

Education

Oleg Kovalev wanted to enter the Saratov Polytechnic Institute at the Faculty of Telemechanics and Automation. But I could not pass the entrance exams on the first try. Work experience

Having received a profession, Oleg Kovalev got on distribution in "Spetszhelezobetonstroy", which was engaged in the construction of reinforced concrete high-rise buildings. At that time, Oleg Ivanovich had to travel a lot around the country on business trips. He took part in the construction of such large facilities as Kashirsky GRES, Volzhskaya CHPP, Norilsk Mining and Metallurgical Plant, Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill, and many others.

For five years Kovalev worked in Norilsk. In Rostov, Kovalev did not live long. Times were heavy. Highly qualified specialists were loaded "with a head". In 1986 he first worked in the fourth Mosoblselstroy Trust. Then he became the head of the construction and assembly organization "Kashira-agropromstroi", where he worked until ninety-first year. Political career

In the nineties he was elected to the State Duma of the Russian Federation. In 1995, his party for the Kolomna District was nominated by the party Our Home Russia. But he lost the election. In March next year he headed the Kashira district. In 1999, he was elected a deputy from the party "Unity" and was its member from 2000 to early 2002. He was deputy chairman of the local government committee.

Personal life

His wife is a famous Russian politician. She worked in the government of the Moscow region, was an assistant to the State Duma deputy. As well as the head and vice-president of two giant companies (Interregional Oil and Fuel Union). Olga Alekseevna is the co-founder of the Moscow branch of the "Opora of Russia". In 2006 she started working in the Russian reserve.

The son of Oleg Ivanovich, Andrey, is engaged in retail and wholesale sales of alcoholic products and the manufacture of dry building mixtures. He is co-owner of several LLCs and JSCs (Gallery Wine, Promstroy, Trading Company Kit, Stroymiks and Kamayus).

Kovalev today

Oleg Kovalev is still fond of basketball and tennis. He continues political and social activities. Develops an anti-crisis program for the Ryazan region.
