Gennady Belov is an artist with an unusual voice

Belov is one of the most famous artists of the USSR, remembered for his songs and especially soft voice, as well as his ability to take high notes, which holds the award "Honored Artist of the RSFSR".

Carier start

A well-known Russian artist was born on November 2, 1945 in the morning in the heart of the country, in the capital of Moscow. In 1960 he finished his studies in a textile technical school and after that began working as a master in a factory called "Red Rose". There were his first performances.

Later, after many bright concerts, Gennady Belov, whose biography in the works was just beginning, was sent to work on television for one notorious transfer. After a good exit on the Central TV channel, his talent was noticed. Belov was offered to be the leading singer of the chorus of the song of the All-Union Radio and TV.

Creative work

After 13 years, in 1973, receiving knowledge at the State Institute of Theatrical Creativity, he became the main artist of the "Mosconcert". At 38, Gennady Belov managed to collaborate with numerous famous composers, arrangers, such as Alexei Mazhukov, David Tukhmanov, Vladimir Shainsky, Evgeniy Ptichkin. Especially popular was the composition of "Drozdy", "Herbs, Grasses", "Dawn-Wizard", "This Big World", "Rumble bread", "Hello, Mom", "Starry Song of Heaven". Especially in those years the "Good" composition was well received, the characteristic feature of it was the unusual rhythm and manner in the song.

Gennady Belov in 1973 became one of the main nominees of a significant contest of the time (international youth contest) in the capital of the Republic of Cuba in Havana, and later takes part in the 9th and 10th International Youth Contest in Berlin. On Central TV, the actor of "Mosconcert" several times presented the songs of the laureates of the "Song of the Year" TV contest.

Creative Crisis

In the late 1980s Gennady Mikhailovich felt a crisis in his work. Like some of his main colleagues in the shop, new songs from Belov were not very good, as in the eighties composers rarely wrote such songs for a high timbre of voice. The voice of Gennady Mikhailovich was lyrical, calm, tremolant, very soft and fascinating. The beauty of the voice fascinates the person who decided to listen to his songs. Gennady Belov sang and knew how to serve himself distinctly and peacefully, differed in his ability to beautifully musically phrase and could perfectly pronounce poetry, and therefore make a person think.

He himself selected songs for his songs carefully and carefully. His soft and calm voice, unique, excellent taste and love of music helped bring his songs to the hearts of even the most discerning music lovers. But at that time he was not sad, despite the creative crisis, Gennady Belov understood and said that the eighties were years for baritones, but he knew that once there will be songs for his clavier.

The funeral

In addition to participating in television projects and festivals, he tried himself in the cinema. I managed to play in such films as "The Secret of VIP", filmed in 1959 (Gennady Mikhailovich was in the main role), as well as in some others. Therefore, the biography of Gennady Belov was quite rich.

Belov died at 49, on October 30, 1995, he did not live to see his 50th birthday. The funeral took place in Moscow in a large Novomoskovsk administrative district at the Khovansky cemetery. To say goodbye came all the fans and just connoisseurs of his soft, high, calm voice. Also came colleagues and composers, with whom he often collaborated. He was a really good and very talented artist whose departure was sad for many.
