Family and childhood

June 16, 1966 in Moscow was born Udalov Maxim Lvovich. He was brought up in a family with an average income. The father and mother of our hero have nothing to do with music and the stage. Parents received higher education in the specialty of "engineer".

In the spring of 1986, the group "Black Coffee" ceased to exist. Udalov and Mavrin became members of the Metallakkord team. But after a few months they decided to try themselves in other groups.

"Aria"

Maxim had all the chances to take a vacant place in the musical group "Cruise". However, he learned that a rock band "Aria" needed a drummer. Our hero went to audition. And he was accepted into the Aria. It happened in late 1986. With him, the group released the album "Hero of Asphalt".

At the end of 1988, a conflict broke out between musicians and artistic director Viktor Vekshtein. Maxim Udalov decided to leave the team. His place was taken by Alexander Manyakin. After some time the "Aria" replaced the artistic director.
