Foot fungus: symptoms

Foot fungus, the symptoms and features of which we will consider, in dermatology is one of the most common diseases. It is associated with the defeat of the skin. Statistics argue that the foot fungus mostly affects men. Women suffer from it much less.

What is the reason for this? The reason is not only in physiology, but also that, as a rule, the representatives of the stronger sex wear only closed shoes. What is bad about closed shoes? But the fact that the air in it to the feet gets too little - it helps to multiply various microbes. Also note that in closed shoes the feet sweat much. Note that in people with good immunity, the foot fungus is almost never manifested.

Fungus on the legs, the symptoms of which we are considering, appears unexpectedly. To its first signs it is possible to carry a small reddening, and also peeling of the skin. The biggest discomfort is felt in the space between the fingers. The fungus of the foot, the symptoms of which we are considering, can occur in very severe form. With it, large blisters can appear on the skin. Cracks also appear on the skin. Violation of the integrity of the skin becomes the cause of the allocation of fluids.

With severe symptoms, there is a high probability that the disease will return even after it has been completely cured.

In severe disease, not only the skin but also the nail plates are affected. At the same time nails become abnormal in color, get fat, become unusually strong. Untimely treatment may become causal in that the foot fungus whose symptoms we are considering will spread to other parts of the patient's body.

Frequent symptoms with foot fungus are:

- destruction of the skin and blisters;

- Peeling and cracks;

- itching, severe burning;

- discomfort between the fingers.

It is worth noting that interdigital infection is the most common form of the described fungus.

This infection has the following features:

- with it may appear a specific but faint smell;

- the cover between the toes becomes soft, thin and very pale. To the touch, it becomes very smooth;

- with interdigital infection, you can observe various depressions on the skin. Their appearance occurs together with peeling and cracking;

- Treatment should be timely, since a bacterial infection can enter the affected area . It can be more dangerous and unpleasant than the foot fungus several times;

- Over time, interdigital infection will make the skin thick and very dense. After that, it (the skin) will begin to decompose literally. If wrong treatment can occur nail damage? What can happen to them? They can become loose and even fall away;

- Both feet are affected most often.

The foot fungus, the symptoms of which we are considering, may also be associated with vesicular fungal infection. There are not so many cases of infection.

This infection appears unexpectedly and, as a rule, develops very quickly. With it, under the affected skin, there are areas within which there is liquid. The first blisters almost always appear on the back of the foot. Less often, they can be found in the interdigital space, on the heel, at the very sole. In most cases, this infection appears after the initial infection. On the skin there are spots between which you can observe peeling. This infection can also develop into a bacterial if treated incorrectly.

Before treatment, it is recommended to consult a doctor. Antifungal agents are on sale a lot, but not all of them are good and really effective. Often, doctors prescribe a drug called "Lysol" - it has long established itself as a reliable remedy for many varieties of foot fungus. However, it is worth noting that only an experienced doctor will be able to select an effective drug. Self-diagnosis and improper treatment will only complicate the course of the disease.
