Female health: prolapse of the cervix.

Diagnosis of cervical prolapse is often made by gynecologists. The causes of this phenomenon can be different, but they all boil down to one problem - loss of elasticity of the pelvic floor muscles, as a result of which they lose the ability to fix in the correct position female sex organs.

The main reason for the loss of the cervix is the bearing of the child and childbirth. In the third trimester of pregnancy, muscles, experiencing the pressure of the growing fetus, relax. And at childbirth often there are ruptures of tissues (including muscle), as a result of which they lose the ability to contract and become weakened. This causes the prolapse of the cervix, when it goes beyond the redistribution of the sexual slit.

Symptoms of the disease in the morning are weak, but by the evening they begin to increase, especially if a woman spends a lot of time on her feet during the day. The prolapse of the cervix is accompanied by a feeling of heaviness and even pain in the lumbar region, difficulty urinating and sensation of a foreign body

Treatment for this disease should appoint an experienced doctor - a gynecologist. In no case should you try to solve the problem yourself.

Often, gynecologists face such a phenomenon as the descent of the walls of the uterus. The cause of this ailment is still the same - weakening of the muscles of the pelvic floor. As a result, the uterus is below the normal level, but does not protrude from the genital gaps.

This disease is observed in 25% of women 30-40 years old, and in the older age, this disease affects every third of the fairer sex.

Causes of omission of the uterus.

  • Disturbances in the communication of the muscles of the reproductive system with the central nervous system.
  • Defects of pelvic organs (congenital pathologies).
  • Diseases of connective tissue
  • Childbirth

Signs of ovulation of the uterus.

Often patients feel a feeling of pressure in the lower abdomen, pain in the vagina (pulling character) and in the region of the sacrum or loin, difficulty or frequency of urination, urinary incontinence (with loads and strains), and bloody discharge may also appear.

Prevention.

To prevent the omission of the uterus, it is recommended to listen to the following recommendations:

  • Try not to lift weights and avoid excessive physical exertion.
  • Regularly conduct preventive measures to combat constipation.
  • Perform therapeutic gymnastics.
  • Wear a supporting bandage or use the uterine rings (only as directed by the doctor).

Exercises for disease prevention.

  • Get on all fours. While inhaling, simultaneously raise your right hand, and take your left leg back. With exhalation, return to the original position. Repeat the same steps with your right foot and left hand. Exercise is performed 4-6 times at a slow pace.
  • Standing on all fours and breathing in, squeeze your back and strain the perineal muscles. Then lower your head, exhale, bend and relax. Repeat exercise 8-10 times.
  • Being in the same position, bend your elbows in the elbows. Drawing a breath, lift up a straight leg. With exhalation, return to the original position. Each leg needs to make 10 ascents.

Treatment.

If you find yourself having the symptoms listed above, consult your doctor immediately, as the delay may lead to the loss of the uterus. In the event that the degree of omission is small, inpatient treatment without surgery is possible.

The choice of method of treatment depends on a number of circumstances: the level of the uterus descent, the age of the patient, gynecological diseases.

If in connection with any reasons, the operation is contraindicated, the doctor appoints a pessary and thick tampons that support the uterus in a normal position.

In the case when surgery is indispensable, surgical intervention is performed.
