Erythrasm. Treatment and prevention

Often in dense, complete and neglected hygienic procedures people, and most often in men, develops erythrasma. Treatment should begin immediately, it is simple, and preventive procedures are even quite pleasant.

Many men believe that the use of various lotions, gels and deodorants is intended for ladies. But this is far from the case. Strong semi-hygienic and cosmetic means are needed no less, and perhaps more, than the beautiful half of humanity. It is because of severe sweating that most often there is erythrasma.

Treatment will begin by clarifying the root causes of its origin. The blame for all the corynobacteria, affecting the epidermis. Everything is explained quite simply. When moving and exercising, a person sweats, and often neglects, the achievements of hygienic progress. Using other people's means of personal hygiene, clothing, walking barefoot in public places or coming into contact with an infected person (including sexual), you can get infected with this disease.

If in the large folds of the skin, most often in the groin-femoral, oval brick-red bright spots with clearly delineated boundaries appear, then there is inguinal erythrasma. Treatment is difficult to start at an early stage of its development, since the disease behaves very modestly. The only thing that can indicate its appearance, this formation on the skin of a small light pink rash. Only when the inflammatory process begins, it becomes clear that a visit to a dermatologist can not be avoided.

Only after a thorough examination, serological and biochemical examination of blood, as well as examination of skin scales under a microscope, is determined by erythrasma. Treatment includes external preparations for the disinfection of the skin, namely ointments containing tar and sulfur. Most often used ointment with erythromycin. Apply it should be for seven days at least three to four times a day. In addition, for the good disinfection of the skin surface, the use of salicylic alcohol or iodine tincture is recommended. With severe skin lesions, the specialist will prescribe an internal antibiotic intake.

To completely disappear erythrasma, treatment should include the reception of physiotherapy procedures. It is recommended to visit a session of ultraviolet irradiation or sunbathe for at least forty minutes in the morning and evening hours, when the sun is not so hot. Mild ultraviolet has the most beneficial effect on the skin, disinfecting it and preventing the development of any possible complications.

Treatment of erythrasms should include a number of some preventive measures. First of all, you must constantly fight sweating. Its intensity depends on the state of the nervous system, age, sex, nutrition, clothing and air temperature. Mostly, increased sweating occurs in men between the ages of twenty and thirty-five. They often have erythrasma inguinal. Treatment is required immediately and it consists in preparations aimed at combating sweating. You should permanently abandon synthetic fabrics in clothes and underwear, wear things from well absorbing sweat and allow the skin to breathe freely of natural linen and cotton materials.

Treatment of erythrasms includes the use of baths with baking soda, which significantly reduce sweating. For this procedure, you can also use six-percent table vinegar or herbs of medicinal herbs. Make a decoction from the oak bark (one hundred grams per liter of boiling water), let it brew, be sure to strain and add to a warm bath. You can use another, no less effective, folk recipe. Take a handful of a mixture of dried camomile flowers, currant leaves, nettles, alternatives and common oregano, pour water, boil and let it brew. You can take a bath with a decoction of sage, mint and St. John's wort, also taken in equal proportions. Do not forget about special deodorants, antiperspirants, which reduce sweating well.
