Currently, scoliosis is very common among people of different ages. With minor violations of posture, with the diagnosis of "uncomplicated scoliosis," exercises can be performed independently at home, after consultation with the doctor. In such cases, the complex of therapeutic gymnastics should consist of symmetrical simple exercises, included in the basic complex. These exercises are also shown at the initial stage of deformation in the spine.

During the performance of symmetrical exercises, the effect on the deformation in the spine is minimal, this substantially reduces all possible risks. All symmetric exercises have different effects on the muscles of the body, which are located symmetrically, because due to curvatures in the spine their condition is unbalanced. When performing such exercises, those muscles that are weaker receive a greater load than the stronger muscles, and they train with greater intensity. As a result of performing symmetrical exercises, the neuromuscular apparatus is gradually adjusted and a balanced muscular corset is formed.

In the basic complex of exercises in scoliosis included symmetrical exercises that strengthen and stretch the spine, thereby correcting the posture. It is very important to perform all movements slowly and increase the load gradually. Regular execution of the basic set of exercises can significantly improve the patient's condition. However, a violation of the recommendations of doctors can aggravate the deformity, so treat this method of treatment with caution.
