Electroinstallation works: general issues of organization and conduct

The construction of residential, public and industrial buildings is extremely rare without conducting electrical works. Electricity has become a part of our life, so now it is even difficult to imagine our world without a variety of electrical appliances that have taken on many functions in the production and household spheres. In the construction industry, there are many types of electrical installation, but almost all of them are carried out in the same way of organizing the work.

The main way to organize construction and installation works, which can also be attributed and wiring, is in a row. A distinctive feature of this method is that the assembly and construction work is entrusted to one organization, which is called the general contractor. General contractor, or general contractor, hires for the execution of certain works other organizations acting in the role of subcontractors, relations with which are built on a contractual basis. In the future, the general contractor will coordinate the work of its subcontractors prior to the start of operation of the construction site. One of the important moments when using this method of organization is the conclusion of a contractual agreement for construction and installation works with the general contractor. This document specifies the conditions for providing a site for the construction of the facility, acceptance and payment of the cost of the results of works, as well as which of the Parties will ensure the development of design estimates, financing of construction and its supply with the necessary technological equipment. So, the general contractor for his part, as a rule, must build or mount and then deliver the objects of work within the time frame established by the plan.

To perform the work specified in the contract agreement, the general contractor concludes several subcontracting agreements with specialized organizations, within the framework of which it documents the relationships with them and transfers to them the obligations of performing a certain type of construction, installation or repair work, including. Wiring. Thus, the organization of electrical work is usually preceded by the signing of a subcontract for their production with a general contractor organization and preparations for their conduct. The preparation can include working design, development of a project for the production of works, drawings and sketches of the main units and units (can be carried out within the framework of the project), the complete and complex delivery of electrical structures, equipment, wiring materials to the facilities. After that subcontractors usually start the implementation of electrical work, the organization and manufacture of commissioning works at the installation and commissioning of completed work.

Along with the contract method of organizing construction and installation works, which include electrical installation work, an economic one can be used, in which agreements with specialized subcontractors are concluded by the payer organization independently, and not indirectly through the general contractor. The contract method of production organization is most often used in facilities with a large volume of construction and installation works, when the use of other methods, for example, economic, does not seem appropriate. It allows to ensure the implementation of work packages with the required level of quality in a timely manner and with a relatively low cost of material, technical, labor and financial resources.

Thus, the most common methods of organizing electrical installation work are economic and contractual, each of which has a number of shortcomings and advantages. In principle, it is not so important how the complex of electrical installation works is carried out, if they are made in this way qualitatively, reliably and with the use of modern and energy-efficient technologies.
