Draniki potato. Several recipes for cooking this dish

Potato pancakes are a hearty, delicious and appetizing dish, which is typical for Belarusian cuisine. Despite the simplicity of the recipe, there are many options for preparing these potato lozenges. Today we will talk about some of them.

The first thing to remember, potato draniki is prepared only from raw potatoes, grated. If you use mashed potatoes for the preparation of dishes, then it will be little bits, not draniki.

There are different opinions as to how to grate the potatoes. In the classical variant of cooking pancakes, potatoes, nevertheless, it is better to grate on a large grater, since a properly cooked dish to taste should resemble fried potatoes rather than mashed potatoes. In addition, when using a large grater, less juice is released, and less flour can be put into the potato mass.

So, the easiest option is potato peel potatoes. For seven to eight medium potatoes, we need one or two tablespoons of flour, salt and pepper.

Cooking this dish is very simple. Three potatoes on a grater, then we salt this mass, we add pepper and flour to it. By this time in the frying pan, the vegetable oil has already been heated, we spread the prepared mass with a tablespoon and fry until a crusty crust on both sides. The recipe for lean dancers can be supplemented with a supplement to the list of ingredients of onions and garlic. These vegetables will need to be grinded on a fine grater and added during the kneading "test".

Potato drans can be prepared with the addition of eggs. For example, you can use this recipe. We take six hundred grams of potatoes, peel and three on a grater. Mix this mass with two beaten eggs and three tablespoons of flour. One hundred and fifty grams of onions and three cloves of garlic three on a fine grater and add to the potatoes. At this stage, you can add to the mass finely chopped dill, if you love it, of course. Add salt and pepper. Fry pancakes in vegetable oil until a ruddy brown.

You can cook potato pancakes with mushrooms. It can be fresh or dried mushrooms, which must be pre-boiled. You can use salted mushrooms. Here is the recipe for such pancakes. We clean four hundred grams of potatoes and one hundred grams of onions and grind these vegetables with a grater, with potatoes three large, and onions - finely. If the resulting mass is too juicy, squeeze out excess fluid. Now add to the mass of four hundred grams of salted mushrooms, which must be finely chopped, one hundred and fifty grams of flour and two eggs. It remains to season with pepper and salt. By the way, since we use salted mushrooms, we need to add salt very carefully. And you can use soy sauce instead of salt, then the dish will get a completely different taste.

Draniks can be cooked not only with vegetable and mushroom additives, many people like to add cheese, slices of ham or sausage to the "dough". And you can make potato lozenges stuffed with meat. For example, try to bake these delicious draniki. The recipe for this dish, in principle, differs little from those described above, only in addition we need a bit of minced meat, which must be mixed with finely chopped onions and raw eggs.

From the minced meat form small balls, and from the potato mass - tortillas. We proceed to create the draniki. We take a potato cake, put a meatball in the center, and cover it with the second cake from the potato "dough", it turns out a kind of pie.

Stuffed stuffed pancakes fry in a pan, as usual. And then add them to the saucepan, pour sour cream and simmer on a slow fire under the lid for about fifteen minutes. Such draniki after roasting can be baked in the oven, watering them with sour cream or mayonnaise.
