Pies with kalina always turn out delicious and very fragrant. It is worth mentioning that absolutely different bases can be used for making such flour products . Today we will look at the way to create a dessert from a yeast dough.

How to cook delicious pies with kalina

Essential ingredients for the base:

  • Rustic fatty milk - 700 ml;
  • Butter melted - 230 g;
  • Yeast granulated - 1 incomplete dessert spoon;
  • Sand sugar - 3 large spoons;
  • Salt, small - pinch;
  • An egg of medium size chicken - 2 pieces;
  • Wheat sifted flour - from 1.7 kg (at discretion).

Mixing the dough

Pies with kalina are lush and soft with the use of a yeast base. To mix it, it is required to heat the rustic milk to a pairing state, and then dissolve sugar in it and pour in dry yeast. After the last component has swelled, chicken eggs must be broken into the milk drink, salt and melted butter added, as well as sifted wheat flour. Next, a soft but well-detached dough should be left aside for 1.5 hours for further lifting.

Also, the pie from the viburnum provides for the use of the following components for the filling:

  • Sand sugar - 2 cups;
  • Viburnum fresh or frozen - 500 g;
  • Honey flower - 3 large spoons.

The filling for the pie from the viburnum is well obtained from fresh or frozen berries, and from the steamed product. We decided to use the first option for making this dessert. Thus, the frozen berries should be thawed at room temperature, and then add sugar, flower honey and mix well. It is worth noting that it is not recommended to whisk the ingredients with crusty or blender, as in this case the filling will be too liquid and it can easily go beyond the limits of the test. If you are confused by the sour taste of this product, it should be boiled slightly on low heat.

Formation of dessert

Pies from the viburnum are formed in exactly the same way as other similar products with other fillings. To do this, take a piece of yeast dough, roll it into a layer and place it in a greased baking dish. Further on the surface of the base, it is necessary to apply a sweet layer of filling, cover it with a second sheet, and the edges are beautifully braided into a pigtail. On top of such a product it is recommended to cover with a beaten egg. By analogy, you should make small pies from all the remaining ingredients.

Heat treatment

Dessert with a stuffing from the viburnum is cooked in the oven for about 50 minutes. This time is enough for the yeast dough to become lush, ruddy and completely roasted.

How to serve to the table correctly

Delicious pies with Kalina should preferably be presented to the table in a cold or warm state. This dish is good to do in the winter, as everyone knows that the presented red berry contains a lot of vitamins and nutrients. Serve it with hot tea and milk.
