Crafts from discs

Overwhelming mirror CD-disks, served for their intended purpose, "sin" is not used to make various attractive gizmos, wall and ceiling decor. Thin flat surface, smooth and light, allows you to use discs in any decor without any difficulty. Especially they like women, some build out of them whole dresses, however, you can walk in this only on the catwalk, but what an effect! Let's try to offer some more practical gizmos, which can be used in everyday life.

Crafts from discs

1. Make a stand under the cup. This, perhaps, is the simplest solution. We put the two discs together with the mirror sides outward and tie them with the usual cotton crochet by the usual crochets, inserting it into the central hole and pulling out the long loops. After tying the first row in a circle, we knit the second row in the form of a thin lace strapping. Such "glamorous" stands under the hot cup will look good even with porcelain. If the discs tie a capron or polyethylene cord, they are quite fit as a protective stand for a flower pot.

2. Beautiful crafts made of disks are obtained in combination with beads, glass beads and artificial flowers. For example, a decoration on the wall or a door in the form of a small wreath can be used as a festive decor for the New Year or Easter. In the central hole we pass a thin ribbon, fix it with glue and make a loop, for which it will then be possible to hang the wreath. Further, the surface of the disk is sealed with artificial sprigs of spruce, small shiny balls so that its surface through them slightly shines through.

3. Perhaps the most original and unusual crafts from disks are obtained when they are glued to the surface, as a mirror mosaic. For example, try to make a mosaic cover near the casket. For this, we cut the disks with scissors into small pieces of triangular, rectangular or square shape. Further, we arrange them in an arbitrary order on the lid as close as possible to each other, so that only very narrow slits remain between them, and successively row by row with a glue gun. After the glue dries, the gaps between the mosaic elements will be selected using a black acrylic contour for artwork. In the same way, you can cover not only the lid, but also the walls of the casket, and use the contour for applying to some individual mosaic elements of a fine pattern.

4. A large rubber ball, glued to the uneven chunks of discs, will become a cheerful adornment of the youth room. Such crafts made of discs suspended from the ceiling on the cord, reflecting and refracting the light of the ceiling lamp, will give glare on the surface of the walls and ceiling, as if in a disco.

5. Crafts made of disks, made by hand, can be wall panels made of mirror plates pasted in rows. Especially effectively, such a coating will look, if the central hole, directly indicating the origin of the material, is sealed with rounded out cut from thick paper.

What other original crafts from unnecessary CDs can be invented? They will be a good decoration of modern furniture in the style of high-tech, for example, simply insert the discs under the handles of chest or cabinet drawers painted in white or black. It is not a bad idea to glue the top of a coffee table with them, and close them with glass on top. Of the discs also make modern lampshades, ceiling lamps, etc. In short, the scope for imagination is unlimited. The main thing is that the crafts from the discs indicate as little as possible the original purpose of the material from which they are made.
