Calella falls into the zone of the subtropical climate, so in summer it is quite hot here, the temperature exceeds the 30 degree mark. And in the winter on the streets of the town it becomes cool, naturally, the sea itself cools.

Nature in this region is a typical embodiment of Catalonia - rocky beaches, golden beaches and the blue sea, which sometimes worries, but on warm days pleases tourists with its transparent smoothness. Fans of diversity and excursions are most often sent to conquer the peaks of local hills, at the foot of which is the city itself. Well, most holidaymakers sunbathe on the beaches, which are well equipped with everything you need. Along the coastline there is a picturesque promenade, where there are restaurants and beach cafes. Also in this place are a lot of souvenir shops, where you can buy yourself something to remember about the rest.

The main historical monument among them is the church Iglesia de Santa Maria. In the center of the city there are also many palaces built in the styles of neo-classical and modern.
