Copper honey: useful properties and application

Honey is a useful natural product, which is used both for treatment and simply as an additional supplement to rational nutrition. There are known methods of treating various diseases using this nutritional and medicinal product, and there are various types of it, each of which has its own peculiarities and specific application. For example, spray honey (its useful properties are numerous) is known as a means of treatment from a number of diseases, and it is often prescribed as an additive stimulating recovery.

Properties and application of spray honey

Honeydew honey (the useful properties of this product have known for a long time) got its name due to the fact that it is obtained from the nectar of a plant called kiprei or otherwise ivan-tea. This plant is a grass with narrow leaves and purple flowers, it is widespread in the non-black soil zone, it can grow in unbroken forests in forest regions, along roads and canals.

It can be noted that phyto-therapeutists and other specialists in this field use honeydew honey in many cases of treatment of complex diseases. Useful properties of this remedy can be presented in the following list:

For wounds and ulcerative skin lesions, it is recommended to make lotions and baths from the infusion of eucalyptus leaves (50 g) on hot water (0.5 L). This solution should be held in a water bath for about 15 minutes, then strain and add 2 large spoons of honey.

For the treatment of stomach ulcers, you can use a decoction of marshweed (1 spoonful of grass per glass of water), which you need to insist on a water bath for about 15 minutes. In the filtered liquid add a spoonful of honey, take 2 large spoons for half an hour before eating.

How to choose honey?

In order to learn how to distinguish between spraying honey from other species or from a counterfeit product, you can use the following information:

  1. The present honey, collected from kiprejnyh flowers, differs a transparency with hardly appreciable green shade. Crystallization of it occurs slowly, and on heating this product acquires a yellow color.
  2. A high-quality mature product does not foam, and if you lower it in honey and spin it, the mass should be wound in the form of a tape.
  3. The presence of impurities in honey can be determined with the help of reagents. So, whether there is a chalk in the product, you can find out by sprinkling the surface of the mass with acid (lemon or acetic). In the case of a reaction (foam formation), it can be stated that calcium is present in the composition of the product.
  4. To find out if honey was diluted with sugar, you can by doing a little experiment. To do this, you need to prepare a solution of honey in boiled or distilled water (1: 2) and carefully inspect it for sediment and impurities. Then you can add diluted silver nitrate (a few drops), while the cloudiness of the solution confirms the presence of sucrose in the honey.
