Civil rights of the person

Many countries in our time believe that the civil rights of man - this is the highest value.

Freedom is what is necessary for the realization of the individual. State authorities should realize that human rights must be higher than all other laws.

Civil rights of a person are a specific group of certain rights that embody the freedom of each individual individually. They protect people from lawlessness and arbitrariness.

Civil rights protect individuals as individuals, which have unique and distinctive features.

Classification of human rights:

1) To enjoy individual freedom.

2) To enjoy the benefits.

3) To protect the use of goods.

Everyone has the opportunity to apply to international bodies to protect their rights.

Civil rights of the person

If we consider the benefits of individual liberties as a criterion of classification, then we distinguish such groups of rights:

- to freedom from cruel treatment, inhumanity, to protection from punishment. These rights guarantee the person's safety;

- for the protection of life, freedom of thought, religion, conscience, the right to inviolability of the home, the right to secrecy of telephone conversations, the right to protect the family. These rights give protection to personal and family life;

- on equality before the court and law, the right to protect the law, equality of the sexes, the right to citizenship. Provide for the possibility of recognizing a person as a subject of law, guarantees of equality.

There is another group, which includes rights that serve as conditions and means of protecting a person. They are often referred to as civil rights, because they serve to protect the individual and her qualities. This includes the right to a fair trial, convicted and accused, a victim of a crime.

The right to live

Any state is obliged to protect people's lives from all kinds of encroachments. This is a right that can not be taken away from anyone.

Life is a valuable capital in society. From a legal point of view, one can deprive a person of life only by a court verdict. But now in many countries the death penalty is prohibited. She was replaced by life imprisonment.

The right to dignity, honor and name
