Children's creativity: Easter applications

Love to perform with the child applications? Easter options are easy to make from paper in combination with other simple and affordable materials. Simple products even the younger preschoolers grind.

Easter application of paper

The easiest option is to cut the blanks from the multi-colored sheets and glue the parts onto the base. You can use a ready-made template or make a beautiful composition of eggs, cakes, baskets, chicken, bunny, willows in any combination.

Can be made from both homogeneous and different materials application. The Easter egg is made as whole, and consists of separate elements. They can be cut out from a different in color and texture paper with an ornament from a satin ribbon.

Verbu is easy to make from a combination of corrugated paper (for twisting twigs) and heads from cotton buds. Vatu can also be used to form the top of the cake (white glaze or powdered sugar).

Chicken from crumpled paper

Easter applications can be simple thematic panels, consisting of one object, for example, a decorated egg or chicken. This is exactly fulfilled even by the kids. Complex compositions of Easter cakes, painted eggs and willow twigs are better for older children or toddlers together with adults.

Simple, accessible and interesting is the technique of applique from thin paper, from which rolls are used for laying out an image. It turns out a kind of mosaic.

The work is done like this:

  1. Prepare corrugated or crepe paper of suitable shades. If these materials are not available, take the usual napkins. Will fit even white. Cut square billets in large quantities. They will produce more accurate and equal in size balls than if you just tear off pieces of paper by hand. To small children it makes sense to offer just pinching off particles. It is unlikely that 3-4-year-old children will succeed and have enough patience to turn balls.
  2. Fold the corners of the square to the middle and gently fold the ball.
  3. If you use white wipes, prepare a gouache of a thin consistency of the desired shades. Lower the workpieces in succession into the corresponding jar. Put the painted parts to dry.
  4. Prepare colored or white cardboard for the substrate. Easter applications can be done on any workpiece. Trim the edges with figured scissors (if available) or cut out a piece in the shape of an egg.
  5. Draw a contour image of the chicken based on the outline.
  6. Apply glue to the surface of the base and press the ball rolled from the paper with a seam to the cardboard, so that from the front side of the application there is a neat workpiece.
  7. Lay out the whole picture.
  8. Glue a beak cut out of brown paper, purchased or made from a cardboard box.

If desired, you can make grass by taking a strip of green paper and cutting from one side fringe.

Very simple application "Easter Egg"

If the child is difficult to cope with the twisting of neat balls, just as in the version with chicken, you can make a relief application from rectangles (squares) or pieces of corrugated paper. It is done this way:

  1. Cut the paper into squares.
  2. Draw the outline of the image on the preform.
  3. Glue the squares on the sheet, before slightly crushing them.

Egg in quilling technique

An interesting Easter application will be obtained if you use elements made of strips of colored paper to create it.

To make such a decor, as in the photo above, work like this:

  1. Cut out strips of paper of appropriate colors.
  2. Twist with a toothpick or special tool dense work pieces of strips of white.
  3. Carefully remove them from the rod and glue the tip of the strip to the previous layer.
  4. The blank for the middle of the flower is done similarly, only the orange strip is first wound, and then the yellow strip is glued, and the winding continues, and is fixed when the desired diameter is obtained.
  5. The remaining parts are formed by untwisting the made workpiece, making folds until the necessary configuration of the part is obtained.
  6. Glue all elements onto the cardboard base according to the scheme.

As you can see, interesting Easter applications are easy to carry out from paper. Children will be happy to make a postcard or a decorative panel with their own hands.
