Inner harmony with Guerlain Idylle

Since the launch of the new line of Guerlain perfumes "Idylle" in 2009, the reviews do not stop "singing odes" to these flavors. And it all began with the fact that a young and ambitious perfumer Thierry Wasser came to the fashion house and joined the last son of the dynasty Jean-Paul Gerlen. Wasser understood that a successful debut largely determines his future career, and therefore tried to make the first "Idyll" become a masterpiece. The name completely corresponds to the contents of the bottle: from the first notes you feel peace, joy of life, inner harmony.

Despite the fact that Guerlain Idylle was intended for the target audience of young and active modern women, it drew inspiration from Wasser in ancient mythology. The smell was inspired by the legend of Zeus's love for the beautiful Danae. Turned into a golden rain, the "father of the gods" sprinkled his lover's bed. Therefore, the fragrance is immediately characterized as luxurious, expensive. At the same time he is not pretentious, not loud and not boasting. The history of fragile love was embodied in a composition in which a dominant note is a rose. And not one, but several of their varieties, which, in combination with other floral scents and chypre chords, create this idyll.

Alchemist Thierry Wasser invented the real elixir of love. Experimenting with roses, he isolated such varieties, which, in addition to floral scents, would have been flavored with fruits. So, Guerlain Idylle was based on the petals from Bulgaria in 2008 harvest, which bear the shades of ripe raspberries and exotic lychee. To this flower was added another rose - Plessis Robinson, also with fruit chords. In the floral bouquet are also interwoven jasmine, white lily, tender spring lily of the valley, refined freesia, spring lilac and strict peony. All this clear, fresh floral rain spills on a warm, languid bed of musk and patchouli.

The Guerlain Idylle composition is luxurious, charming, memorable. It is impossible not to admire her. Spirits create to their possessor an aura of calm confidence in the power of their own charm and magical attraction. A trail, a little sweet, gives the warmth of patchouli with a touch of jasmine. The dominant rose vibrates echoing, gradually fading. Lovers of flower compositions note the persistence of the fragrance (after all, amber is included in the composition), as well as the magnificent bottle created by the designer Ora Ito.

The fragrance of Guerlain Idylle was released in the form of toilet and perfumed water. This smell is optimal for a woman up to forty years old, and it is suitable for both daily and special occasions. On evening dresses the composition "sounds" luxuriously, like precious cashmere, and on city clothes - it is easy and romantic, like a silk scarf, fluttering in the spring wind.

Having advertised the new fragrance with two videos in which the jazz-guitarist Tom Dutronck and actress Nora Arnezader starred as a mythical couple in love (Zeus and Danai) , the fashion house began to change. In 2011, two compositions from Guerlain were presented: "Idylle Duet" and "Idylle Eau Sublime". They retain the concept of splashing the divine rain, but in the "Duet", which is also called "Jasmin-Lilas", there is the spirit of "Thousand and One Nights." Sweet aromas of Indian jasmine sambac, which was previously used only in Hindu religious rituals, are truly revolutionary. Their provocative languor is softened by the chastity of a gentle white lilac.
