How to unite the knitted details unnoticed?

Many needlewomen are interested in the question: "How to unite two knitted details imperceptibly?" But at the same time so that there is no skewing or tightening and that the product looks simply stunning.

In fact, there is nothing complicated in this. And due to the fact that the sewing technique is quite a lot, you can choose more convenient. In this article, we describe several ways how to combine knitted details.

A few subtleties in stitching details

Before you begin to stitch the parts, you must first prepare everything you need. This is primarily a thread, which we will sew together numerous and varied details. And from the tools - a thick needle with a large eye, a knitting needle or a hook (depending on the type of stapling you chose). As for the thread, then most often use the same, which knitted the details themselves, or similar in color. The main thing is that the thread is strong.

Begin with the alignment of the edges of the parts. Then try on the product and mark the stitching points. For convenience, you can initially make the outline a thread of a different color. When sewing, do not take too long a thread - it can quickly tear, and tighten it tightly.

In order for the seam to be smooth and straight, it is necessary to thread in loops located at the same distance. If you sew a cuff or collar with a lapel, then in this case the edges need to be done on the other side of the knitted details.

"Mattress" seam

If you are most concerned with the question of how to unite the knitted details unnoticed, then this vertical invisible seam is what you need.

To fulfill it, it is necessary to choose a thin thread. You can even sewing. To perform a mattress seam is necessary on the front side of the parts. To do this, you need to join the edges by grasping the edge loops on both sides.

To perform the facial smoothness, we insert the needle with the thread first between the first and second loops of one part, and then also on the second part. So we sew it to the end. To carry out the reverse surface, again on the front side, insert the needle into the loops themselves. At the same time, from one part we grip the upper part of the loop, and on the other - the lower part. Again, sew to the end.

Knitted suture

This invisible seam is used to connect parts that are connected in one direction. First, we have them face up and edges to each other. Next, draw the needle with the thread under the next loop on the second side. We sew further by analogy. We got a horizontal knitted seam.

Another kind of knitted suture is the seam loop in the loop. It is used when you need to connect the details of the hosiery type of knitting. For this, open the loops of the two parts of the product. The thread is used the same as used for knitting.

We thread the needle with the thread in the first loop from the underside of the upper part of the product, conduct it into the first loop of the lower part and lead through the second loop of the underside of the lower part. Then pass the thread from the front side of the upper part to the first loop and lead through the second upper part from the inside. Then we pass the needle into the second loop of the lower part from the front side and lead to the third lower part from the inside. We continue to sew by analogy. Try to ensure that the seam loops are identical in size to the loops of the product.

Seam "Chain"

This seam is applicable for connecting the shoulders. When knitting, it is necessary to leave loose loops on the front and back of the product on the spokes. Then we add the details in reverse to each other. We take another needle and begin to tie the first loop of the back of the front, and then the second loop from both spokes.

We close the hinges when two loops are left on the right spoke. We do this by putting the first eyelet on the second. We continue by analogy to the end. Thus, on the front side of the product we see a pattern in the form of a chain. This kind of sewing is suitable for those who want to learn how to combine knitted details beautifully.

If you do not want this chain to be visible, do the same, only the details are initially folded face to face.

Seam with closing loops

This is another way for those who are looking for how to knit knitted details with knitting needles. We will carry out this seam from the back side of the product. To do this, we take an additional spoke and thread it into the first face loop on the upper spoke and into the first back loop on the lower spoke. Then remove both loops. Then pull the second loop through the first one. Then we repeat everything from the beginning.

We turn the knitted product and remove two loops. Pull the second through the first. Again, remove the two loops and pull the second through the first. At the end we fix the last loop.

Seam "back needle"

This seam is also performed from the wrong side. We take both parts, fold them face to face and fix the thread on the outer hinges. Then we pass the needle with the thread, retreating half a centimeter from the last stitch.

Enter the needle in the place where the previous stitch ends, and output again in half a centimeter from the stitch. Pull the thread. We continue according to the same scheme.

Seam crochet

Let's describe some examples of how to connect crocheted details with a crochet.

  1. How to connect crocheted crochet details? Countersunk seam. We do it on the edge. Two pieces of the product are piled together face to face and draw a hook through them, grabbing and pulling the loop. Again, pass the hook and pull through both the parts and the previously captured loop. We mess up, repeating the last action to the end.
  2. Stack without crochet. Do it on the front side of the product. Hook through the walls of the closed row of both parts and, grasping the thread, pull the loop. The loop is pulled through the next two loops of the closed row and, having grasped the thread, we draw out a new loop through the two previous ones, which are on the hook. Further we proceed according to the same scheme, from the moment of drawing the first loop.
  3. To connect the open loops on the knitting needles, we add the two pieces face to face and pass the hook through the first loops on the spokes and, as in the front ones, remove them. Then, hook the thread and pull the loop through the two loops on the hook. Now remove 2 loops from the spokes. On the hook there are three loops. We thread the thread on the hook and pull the loop through the three loops that are on the hook. Now there is 1 loop on the hook, and we repeat all the actions from the moment of removing the two loops from the hooks.

Stitching seam

How to connect knitted details with knitting needles? To the seamstick was imperceptible, it is necessary to carry it out from the wrong side. But if you want, that on a place of connection of details there was a decorative lacing seam, you can do it from the front side.

Two pieces of the product are put together face to face, placing the edges on one line. Then insert the needle with the thread from behind through the waistbands between the loops at the edges. Stitch this way to the end.

Connection of vertical and horizontal parts

Most often this seam is used for sewing sleeves. In the event that the rows are larger than the loops, sewing the sleeve, periodically grasp the two broaches between the edges of the edge of one part and one loop from the other.

When hosiery knitting to connect the vertical and horizontal parts, it is necessary to hold the needle with the thread under the loop of the vertical part in the closed row and pull it out under the broach between the first and second loop on the horizontal part. And then we sew through the same scheme to the end.

That's all, nothing complicated in how beautifully to combine knitted details. You just need to start, and knitting will drag you into the world of magic!
