Chicken tobacco in the oven. Several ways to prepare

Delicious fried chicken with a crust will be obtained if you prepare a chicken of tobacco. This dish can be made in various ways: bake in the oven, in a frying pan, add additional ingredients to it. We offer several recipes.

Tobacco chicken in the oven

Just, tasty and quickly you can bake a chicken with potatoes. To do this you will need:

  • Chicken chicken;
  • spice;
  • salt;
  • Several medium-sized potatoes.

Wash meat, dry with a napkin. Cut the carcase along, along the line of the spine. You can make two halves or leave one in the "unfolded" form. Rub the chicken with salt, spices. For baking, use a refractory dish. Lightly oil it, lay meat in the middle. Wash the potatoes, brush them. It is better, if the tubers are small, so they will be more quickly cared for. Cut each potato in half, lay next to the chicken. Preparation of the chicken in the oven takes about 40 minutes. Time may differ from indicated if you have more meat and potatoes. In any case, before you get the dish out of the oven, determine its willingness - puncture the chicken with a knife, the juice should not be red.

Chicken of tobacco in the oven

The photo shows how the prepared dish should turn out. Ideally, the chicken should be fried in a special flat frying pan, pressing meat from above with a heavy load. In the Uzbek cuisine there is the word "tawak", which denotes flat dishes and plates. Modifying, the word came into Russian. Hence the name of the dish - "chicken tobacco", that is fried in a flat dish. But regardless of how the chicken of tobacco will be cooked - in the oven or in a pan, the recipe remains the same. You will need:

  • Two chicken carcasses;
  • Spices (sumac, thyme, sesame, svan salt, which can be replaced with a mixture of salt, garlic, coriander, fenugreek);
  • Butter - 50 grams;
  • water;
  • melted butter.

Prepare carcases: rinse and cut along the ridge. Do not separate them to the end. Sesame fry in a pan until a light aroma comes from it. Spice the spices in a mortar, then add a melted piece of butter to them. Lubricate the chicken with the mixture and leave for 40 minutes. Pour a little water into the pan without a handle or mold, add a piece of melted butter and put the chicken. If you cook on fire, then press the frying pan on top with the load. Chickens of tobacco in the oven do not require this. It is recommended to turn the meat several times in broth so that it can be properly scraped. When the water evaporates, turn the carcass one more time - to form a ruddy crust on both sides. Prepare the chicken for about 40 minutes. Everything will depend on the size of the carcass you have caught. After the specified time, the tobacco chickens in the oven will be ready.

With what to file?

Often the chicken is served with herbs and tomato sauce. Try to replace it with pomegranate, quince or cinnamon - and the dish will play with new flavors. From the green, you can serve salad leaves, parsley, dill. Tomatoes to the chickens of tobacco warm in the leftover meat. It turns out an interesting and unpleasant version of the garnish.
