Catching a perch on a bald

During the winter, it proved to be very useful, when hunting for perch, a bait called "balda". Like all baits for fishing in the winter, the "bald", has a variety of modifications and shapes. The most common form of this bait is as follows: the body of the "bald" has the shape of a pear, where in the narrow, upper part there is an opening for the passage of fishing lines through it. On both sides of the line, hooks are attached, and a loop is tied around the center. The size of the hooks should not be more than the length of the bait itself. It should be borne in mind that small hooks poorly cut the fish, and big ones do not play the game so well. To make a "bald" can be made from tungsten, this will increase its weight with smaller dimensions, and naturally the technique of catching perch in winter will noticeably improve. Traditionally, hooks on the "bald" are supplied with beads or cambric tubes of different colors. The color of the bait and its weight largely depend on the conditions and place of fishing. Since the "bald" like not only the perch, but also the pike, sometimes hooks are used to install leashes of steel. But this bait gives the greatest effect when catching a large perch in winter.

Also catching perch on the "bald" is effective in the first ice, and even in the deaf-mowing, when at other times the perch is more active, and you do not have enough time to attach the bait and deliver the bait to the depth. In this case, the fisherman in the reserve should always be a bait, which with its greater weight will bring a greater effect. Catching perch on the "bald" Can be conducted using an ordinary winter fishing rod, but it must be equipped with a large coil. Mostly this bait serves to search for fish places, and for this it is necessary to perform very frequent transitions along the frozen pond in search of perch habitat. Elasticity of the nod on the "bald", as well as on other fishing tackles in the winter, should be consistent with its weight.

The catch of the perch on the "bald" is carried out as follows. The bait is lowered to the bottom, the fishing line is slightly raised, and fixed on the bobbin. A small swing of the fishing rod raises the bait for a short distance and performs a slight impact on the bottom. After waiting three to four seconds, this operation is repeated. When you bang the bait on the bottom, she picks up from him a cloudy cloud, which from a distance sees the fish, and she is very attracted to them. In this cloudy cloud the perch searches for the "bald", and the beads and cambric hooked on hooks deceive him, recalling the larvae and small crustaceans. If the fish is under the hole, it pecks with a pause in three to four seconds. If the fish is in the middle of the water column, then small swings of tackle with small stops are necessary, and gradually walk through all layers of water. A bale can occur both on the wiring of the fishing rod and at its stop.

Catching a perch on a "bald" is used with a bait replanting, a kind of sponge or a bloodworm, on hooks, but the whole feature is that the bait is constantly kept in balance. With the change in equilibrium, her game is lost, and naturally attractiveness. Bite on the wire is felt differently - from stopping the bait, to its sagging. If you saw at least the smallest sign of biting, you need to immediately cut. If biting and trimming occurs, there is a blunder, do not be upset, you should lower the bait to the bottom and perform a new wiring. Lower the bait slowly, and at the same time a little shaking it. The "bald" has some advantages in comparison with other non-jumping gear, namely:

- it has a lot of weight, and very quickly turns out to be at a depth, it easily penetrates into the sludge that gathered in the hole;

- gives a gain in time, as it is not necessary to use bait, and at the same time to freeze your hands;

One can also listen to a very useful advice - in the process of catching this bait, at some intervals, lower the bait to the bottom, then the flock of fish will be under an umbrella permanence under the hole and peck with great activity.
