BMW GT - practical car of Bavarian craftsmen

BMW GT - the most overall representative of the third model of the line of the German automaker. The dimensions of the car, in comparison with the station wagon, increased in all parameters, and the gain in weight was 50 kg. Increasing the space for passenger feet by 70 millimeters was a pleasant surprise. In the novelty, the luggage compartment volume increased by 25 liters, amounting to 520 liters. For additional money, buyers can equip their unit with active cruise control, a projection display, a system of a circular view, an automatic parking system and many other improvements.

BMW GT models are equipped with two two-liter diesel engines with a capacity of 143 or 184 hp. Or three gasoline units with a capacity of 184, 245 and 306 hp. The basic models are equipped with a six-speed gearbox.

The cars are supplied with the M-package, which includes the interior trim, the M5-M6 steering wheel, quality powerful brakes and expressive bumpers.
The BMW GT with an inflatable 3-liter unit up to a hundred accelerates in 5.4 seconds, while the sedan is a tenth of a second behind. But it is worth noting that the car came out noisy, and even at low rpm.

Bavarian masters, trying to give the unit controllability of the sedan, screwed up with a suspension. At usual driving the machine seems rigid, and in a sports mode - even worse. Wide wheels notice each pothole, causing inconvenience to the driver and his passengers.

Do not immediately strike out the car from possible purchase options, because there are more balanced versions. One such is the 320d with a turbo diesel of 2 liters. Although it is inferior in power, but more gently overcomes the unevenness of the road, which is important for the driver and passengers.

The extended car track, long base and wide tires make it a cruise machine, despite the large swing and deep rolls. For the diesel version of the hatchback, small irregularities do not constitute problems, and deep pits are relatively softly worked.

The box automatic, dividing climate control, full electropackage, bi-xenon headlights and BMW Professional audio system are included in the BMW GT package, the price for which is from 1.5 million rubles.
