The weight of the battery is rather large - about 270 kilograms. It is located under the upper seats, so that there is no additional space. Its capacity is equal to 24 kWh. Of course, compared to other machines that work either on diesel or on fuel, Nissan - the electric car is not so powerful and fast. Yes, and the charge in it is about 160 km. Therefore, not from all people electric car "Nissan Leaf" reviews are positive. And, it must be admitted, not all of them fit. It should be understood that this model was created not for conquering roads and highways, but for quiet movement around the city - from home to work, to the store, to visit and back. By the way, you need to take into account the fact that the battery life cycle is about five years. Today, batteries are assembled in Japan. Approximately 65,000 sets come out in just one year. Another plant was decided to deploy in Smyrna (Tennessee). There annually about 200 thousand sets are produced.

And it managed to be done. The developers brought the power of the charge and increased the mileage to an index of 123 miles (this is almost 200 kilometers). So now the machine can withstand 40 kilometers more. And the recharging time was halved. After improvements, the model can be filled with energy in four hours. Still, experts are thinking of equipping the model with a parking camera of a circular view, and the salon is finished with leather. Still, at first glance at this machine it becomes clear that it is electric.

Criticism and feedback

Electric cars "Nissan" in Russia were also recognized. Of course, there are not so many of them as high-class presentable "Mercedes" or "Audi", but such cars can also be found in the vastness of our homeland. Of course, the model has a lot of criticism. And all note the very same 200 kilometers that the car can drive. For many it does not fit - I still want independence from the vehicle. And anyway, for a car that works on electricity to become truly popular, it is necessary that it can hold without recharging for a couple of days. But this will not really be done for many more years.

There are also positive qualities. Running data, for example. They are really good. The car touches softly and easily, demonstrates good dynamics and good visibility, and still this model boasts excellent noise insulation and a set of modern electronic accessories.

Cost

And one more thing, which should be mentioned, talking about "Nissan" (electric car). The price is what is meant. In Russia, this model in fairly good condition can be bought for about 630-690 thousand rubles. For this money you will get a car with 109 horsepower, automatic gearbox, low mileage, heated seats (with a timer), good dynamics, soft running and excellent maneuverability. But the price, I must admit, is not small. However, to buy such a car or not, this is everyone's business.
