Black Lake - where is it?

Many people prefer to rest on the shore of a lake or river to all hot countries, azure sea and hotels with an all-inclusive system. Search for the Black Lake on the map will be quite problematic. And not because it is not there, or it is very small, but because many geographical objects with this name can be found, not only in water bodies, and not only in Russia. Within the limits of one article it is simply impossible to tell about all, especially since the local population considers its Black Lake to be unique and the best. So let's look at some of them.

Healing source

Let's start, perhaps, with one of the most famous in our country. Khakassia is rightfully proud of its reservoir. People come here not only to have a rest, but also to have a little medical treatment, to swim in a mineral lake, to collect water in springs. In addition, at the bottom of the lake there are bottom sediments, which are recognized as curative. However, for holidaymakers there are no special conditions, except that there are recreation centers and a private sector in the same town. By the way, this settlement Black Lake is also very attractive for tourists. After all, the famous phytocenter "Praskovya" works there, where you can receive medical treatment for Siberian recipes, as well as purchase herbal preparations. In connection with the popularity of this place is logical question: "How to get to the Black Lake?" There are several roads. The most commonly used is the northern one: 4 kilometers from the village of Novotroitskoye. However, you can drive from the south - from Sayanogorsk.

Humus acids or Time of Troubles?

The second in our list will be a lake in the Vladimir region, not far from the Intercession. Now it is on a kind of peninsula, which used to be an island. Historians are still arguing why it is called Black. According to one version, it happened because the water is colored with humic acids and it seems dark. But there is another story. In the Time of Troubles, locals hid on the island, but the Poles found them, hacked or drowned, surrounding the pine forest burned. The island turned into a black ashes. He, like the lake, was called Black. In the village of Maslyany Gorki, which was located on the same island, they made butter for lambs, which were served on the royal table.

Lake on land

The next "Black Lake" in our list is not a lake at all. This is a city park in Kazan. Once upon a time there really was a lake with this name. Around were made green plantations, and the banks are trimmed with ledges. The water was unusually clean, but eventually swam, and local authorities decided to fall asleep on the pond. And the park remained. At the end of the last century it was the main place of Kazan's festivities. Here was a restaurant, pavilions of photographs, a fountain, which in the winter turned into a skating rink. And in the 30-ies of the twentieth century, there was installed the "Arch of Lovers", which has amazing acoustics. This is not all objects with the mysterious name "Black Lake". In Ulyanovsk, for example, there is an old lake with this name and an ecological park around where many animals live, rare and endangered representatives of the flora grow. Also called the amazingly picturesque lake in the Czech Republic - the deepest and largest among all the natural lakes in this country. Guests and residents of Montenegro are pleased to admire the beauty of the Black Lake in Durmitor National Park . Melt water in the spring form here an amazing waterfall.

Whatever it was, but each natural body of water is unique and worthy of attention and pride of local residents.
