Anna Plisetskaya: the last representative of the dynasty

The glory of the ministers of Terpsichore (the goddess of dance), unlike the great musicians, painters or poets, is experiencing the creative age for quite a while, unfortunately. The most famous dancers can be judged by ordinary people, mainly on the few images, memoirs of their contemporaries, and a little later on the photographs. And only in recent years there was an amazing opportunity to capture the dance on film. Anna Plisetskaya is a young representative of the Plisetskiy-Messerer dynasty. Little fame came to her as a child when she played Jane Banks in the film about the extraordinary nanny Mary Poppins.

Childhood

Little Anna Plisetskaya was born in the capital of the Soviet Union - in Moscow - August 18, 1971. Mama Anechka, Marianna Sedova, was a ballerina of the Bolshoi Theater, father, Alexander Plisetskiy (brother of Maya Plisetskaya), - choreographer. There is a family legend that the name of the girl was invented by herself Maya Plisetskaya, her great aunt. Just at that time, her husband, Rodion Shchedrin, was completing work on Anna Karenina. Here is the ballerina and came to the family of the brother with the offer of this name. My parents did not mind.

The family moved to Latin America, so Ani's childhood passed there, in Lima. Her father founded a ballet there.

The debut in the cinematography of the little Anechka took place when she was three years old. She played a tiny episodic role in the film "Anna Karenina" (directed by Margarita Pilikhina).

City on the Neva

Once again, she appeared on the screen in the movie "Mary Poppins, Goodbye." She was chosen to be the daughter of the four Banks - Jane Banks. It was 1984.

Today Anna Plisetskaya talks about moving to the northern city of Leningrad with ease and appreciation. She realizes that this was her lucky ticket to the future. But at the age of nine, it was a tragedy for her. Then she cried with burning tears, sincerely not understanding why at the mention of her surname the direction of the choreographic school begins to worry too much.

Lady Mary ...

In Vaganovsky, a girl of great promise met with a rather affable. And after a couple of years, when she turned into an excellent pupil and became a promising ballerina, she was quietly released to the capital for a vacation, to shoot a picture about the unusual nanny Mary.

Since the release of the film on the screens it's been thirty years already. But still this time Anna Plisetskaya Recalls with a special feeling. On the set, she happened to see how famous Soviet actors play, having imbued them with the magic power of art.

She was invited to try the second director of this film. Then Anna found out that before that a huge number of children were looked through. By the way, many of them took part in the final scene of the picture. Before the nanny permanently flies away, the adult characters of this story get the opportunity to meet their childhood.

First achievements

Anna Plisetskaya, biography Which interests many ballet connoisseurs, somehow recalled that she liked herself in this film. As she said in one of the interviews, there she was a good, right girl. True, she did not manage to enjoy the full glory that hit her after the film was released on the screens: she had no childhood as such, the college had a busy schedule; The students rose at eight in the morning and went to bed at eleven in the evening. And her success was already constant, but on the stage. By this time Anna Plisetskaya Already danced solo in the Mariinsky Theater. The schedule was pretty dense, so there was not a lot of memories about the filming in the film.

It is possible that her luck was variable. And here it is not only the name that is to blame. The peak of her career on the stage fell on the difficult 90s. The situation developed in such a way that she came to leave the Mariinsky, although she did not want it. There were very few performances now, but she was a young ballerina and she really wanted to work. But here in a month she received an amount equal to the ballerina's fee for one working day in the West. Almost all of her fellow students went abroad. But Anna wanted to dance at home. And she began to work part time, independently organizing performances. This is not like hudruku. He told her that Plisetskaya had no right to speak anywhere. I had to leave my native walls ...

Yes, quite strange sounds "pensioner in 36 years." But she tried herself in different hypostases. Plisetskaya plays in plays, works on a vocal program (she likes to sing) and gives concerts. She has a dream - to act in films.

She has a strong enough ballet repertoire. She danced in Russian, Giselle, Polovtsian Dances, Swan Lake, Sylphide and many others. But he is not afraid to look at other kinds of art. For three years, from 2000 to 2003, in a team with the collective of the State Concert Hall "Russia" Plisetskaya, whose ballets were always a small miracle, worked on creating a program that could translate the idea of developing gifted and professional children in various fields: in the field of opera , Ballet, music and circus art.

In recent years, she has organized concerts and is working on staging performances.

Relations with aunt

As a rule, in an interview, journalists often ask Anna what relationship she associates with the great ballerina of the twentieth century, who, in combination, is the sister of her father, Maya Plisetskaya. But Anna had never loved such an interference with her family. She answered very simply: relations are close exactly as much as possible for two people living in different countries. Besides, she never worked at the Bolshoi Theater as an aunt, so there was never any competition or jealousy.

But there is one question Anna Plisetskaya never answers. The personal life of the ballerina remains without a single comment from her. On the one hand, she does not consider herself a sufficiently stellar person who could be discussed without interruption; on the other, she is sure: this side of her life is hers alone, and she does not intend to devote strangers to this world.
