An-74 - transport and passenger

Airliner An-74TK 300 is designed for medium-haul passenger traffic. The basic model for him was the transport An-74, but the changes made to the prototype design are so large that we can safely say that this is a completely new aircraft with high performance.

The main goals sought by the creators of the An-74 passenger airliner were comfortable flight conditions and economy. To achieve them, the position of the nacelle was changed, they were moved under the wing. This scheme reduces fuel consumption and facilitates ground operation when working in civil aviation. The engines placed above the plane, like the transport variant, somewhat worsen these characteristics, but give an undoubted advantage - the possibility of landing on unprepared platforms and not being afraid of getting foreign objects into the air intakes.

An-74 has been produced for 12 years. It was supplied to many countries as an army air vehicle. During this time, the aircraft acquired the reputation of a machine capable of performing flights in difficult weather conditions, unpretentious and reliable. The passenger variant is distinguished by the attention paid to interior design, it was entrusted to the "Inter AMI" Corporation. Everything was done so that the flight time passed unnoticed.

To ensure that the air passenger is not disturbed by engine noise, special sound-absorbing panels are applied in the lining. The high ceiling and wide salon, inherited from the prototype, also contribute to pleasant sensations in flight. Very convenient luggage shelves, equipped with mechanisms that exclude their spontaneous opening.

This liner does not require a gangway, it serves as a door, descending down and equipped with steps.

Especially it should be said about the interior lighting, it is thought out so scrupulously that, without annoying with excessively bright light, provides the optimum level of light flux.

In order to ensure that passengers are not bored during the flight, at their service are media centers with armpits built into the armrests, allowing you to enjoy your favorite music or to watch movies, which was previously possible only in transcontinental liners.

On board An-74TK 300 has everything you need for making delicious hot meals. The bathroom is well equipped.

Very high level of security, it meets the most stringent international requirements. Materials from which the seats and the upholstery of the cabin are made, fireproof, the design provides for emergency exits.

At the same time, the price of the aircraft and the cost of spare parts for it are low compared to foreign counterparts.

The ceiling, that is, the altitude at which the aircraft flies, reaches ten kilometers, which greatly improves stability and excludes the appearance of "air holes". Economical fuel consumption, flight range up to 5,300 kilometers in combination with a speed of 750 km / h allows us to hope that the Antonov-74 TK-300 aircraft has a great future in the spacious Russian sky.
