"Ulan-Udestalmost" - reliability in the basis of business

CJSC "Ulan-Udestalmost" is the largest factory for the production of metal structures in Russia. It was founded in 1973. It is located in the capital of Buryatia - the city of Ulan-Ude.

Manufacturing of metal structures at the plant is a full cycle of production: "Ulan-Udestalmost" has its own laboratory, which carries out full control of the input material. Metallurgical products are pre-treated with shot blasting and dressing. Cutting of rolled metal and high-precision machining is performed on modern high-performance equipment. The products pass anti-corrosion protection, including waterproofing.

Over the whole history of the plant's existence, over 960 thousand tons of metal structures were produced. Production capacities of the plant are able to produce up to 3 thousand tons of products per month and up to 36 thousand tons per year.

The largest object for the company's history is the bridge over the Amur River in Khabarovsk. The total weight of the facility exceeds 23 thousand tons, the length is 2,599 meters, with access roads - 3,891 meters. The bridge combines separate railway and automobile traffic.

Workshops of the enterprise

At the Ulan-Udestalmost plant, direct production is carried out in six main workshops. The preparation phase takes place in the blanking shop, the processing of the rolled metal passes in the machining shop. There are two assembly shops at the plant - No. 1 and No. 2, a forging and mechanical shop and an anti-corrosion treatment and loading shop.

The process of the main production is provided by seven auxiliary workshops: the central factory laboratory, the tool shop, the electrical shop, the transport shop, the mechanical repair and gas department, the technical control department and the railway section.

Support Services

Auxiliary workshops of the plant perform adjustment and repair of machine tools. Supply the main production with electricity, oxygen, compressed air, cold and hot water, as well as a mixture of protective gases and sawnwood.

The boiler-house "Ulan-Uestalmost" provides the shop infrastructure with heat. The plant has its own warehouses with access railway tracks.

Products of the factory

"Ulan-Udestalmost" produces bridged metal structures of any climate solutions of several standard projects, metal structures of pedestrian and road bridges, as well as small bridges, temporary bridges, power transmission towers, cell towers, tele- and radio communications, bridge and gantry electric cranes of up to 50 tons.

The plant also produces metal structures for industrial use for buildings and structures, high-strength metal products, supporting bridge parts, girder cranes with a carrying capacity of up to 10 tons and mining equipment.

The plant produces a number of consumer goods - bath ovens, grills, fences, gates, burzhujki. Provides services in shaping cutting and chemical analysis of metal. Conducts mechanical testing of specimens of reinforcement and metal and control of metal structures.

Quality system and certification

At the plant in 2001, a quality management department was established. Prerequisites for the creation of this structural unit in the "Ulan-Udestalmost" was the growing competition in the market and the need to meet new quality standards.

At the plant, a quality management system was developed and introduced, which in 2004 was awarded a certificate of compliance with the requirements of GOST R ISO 9001-2001 under No. 01827.

On February 13, 2004, the trademark of the plant was registered in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Eastern Siberia.

At the moment, the Quality Management Department performs the function of standardization and quality control in the enterprise.

The equipment of the company is certified by the center of ISSO JSC "RZD". Each unit of production is supplied with a certificate of equipment.

The plant uses machinery equipment of the world's leading manufacturers from the USA, Italy, Japan, Germany and France for cutting, assembling, cleaning, drilling and anti-corrosion protection.
