Allergic bronchitis

Spring and early summer give some people a bunch of problems. It is about those who suffer from various allergic diseases, which are usually aggravated by the change of weather conditions. Such diseases as allergic bronchitis occur most often in people working in conditions unfavorable to health, having a hereditary predisposition to this disease or coming into constant contact with a variety of allergens - animals, domestic dust, food, various chemicals and t . Allergies affect various parts of the respiratory tract.

Bronchitis, the signs of which are defined as inflammatory processes of the bronchial mucosa, develops usually due to adverse effects of a variety of aggressive factors - viruses, bacteria, allergic reagents, smoking.

As a rule, allergic bronchitis is characterized by a paroxysmal dry cough that intensifies at night. The disease alternates: then exacerbation, then remission. With an exacerbation, there is sometimes a similarity of rhinitis, laryngitis, diathesis, but the body temperature does not change.

Allergic bronchitis, the symptoms of which do not differ much from the signs of other varieties of this disease, are usually aggravated in combination with acute viral and bacterial infections. They are manifested in dyspnea, cough, shortness of breath, runny nose. When determining the diagnosis, the doctor must necessarily differentiate with bronchitis, which is of bacterial origin, take skin tests.

The most important, but rather complex action is the specific definition of the allergen, because of which the disease began. Only after this can the treatment begin, minimizing or completely eliminating contact with it.

Allergic bronchitis is very common in children, but it is very individual. Some babies get watery eyes, someone sneezes continuously, and some begin to cough. Laboratory tests show in the blood of a sick child an increased content of eosinophils and immunoglobulin E. Usually these are the children of those parents who have a similar hereditary disease.

Quite often, attacks of allergic bronchitis in children occur in severe physical overload, during loud screaming or laughing, very rarely - from the cold. Therefore, these children are contraindicated in physical education and any load on the throat, it is recommended that heat.

Such a disease, like allergic bronchitis, is treated long, using complex methods.

First and foremost, such patients regardless of their age are prescribed hypoallergenic nutrition or a special diet that excludes all foods that can cause an allergy attack - many kinds of seafood, eggs, dairy products, smoked products, coffee, spicy foods and pickles, some fruits of red Or orange, honey, nuts, etc.

Drug treatment consists in prescribing antihistamines such as tavegil, fenistil, suprastin, etc., activated carbon or polyphepan. Alkaline inhalations, as well as hardening, physiotherapy and physical education are also good.

Sometimes doctors instead of medicines prescribe herbal preparations, consisting of a rosemary, a yarrow and a guelder-rose.

Treatment will be as effective as possible and allergic bronchitis will recede if anti-allergic rules are observed in the house, such as cleansing and moistening the air, replacing feather pillows with hypoallergenic ones, and rejecting carpets. One word, an environment will be created in which the existence of allergens will decrease to a minimum, especially in the rooms where children sleep.
