Filmed on the motives of works by J. Rowling, the eponymous film first appeared on screens in 2001 and immediately became a world sensation. Children 10-11 years old, the main characters of the epic film, were showered with simple boys and girls, and the next morning after the premiere they became world-class stars.

Yes, perhaps, it would be reckless to argue that the selection of actors "Pottterians" played an important role in the success of the whole project. And, by the way, casting took a lot of time and effort. Of course, the main task was to select actors for the role of the protagonists of the film - Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Casting began in 1999.

The first of his managed to pass Emma Watson, who received the role of the "main curriculum" of Hogwarts and Harry Potter's friend Hermione. The second to shoot in the film approved Rupert Green, whose hero, Ron, was Potter's best friend. The case with the selection of the artist for the role of Harry Potter was difficult. In the end, Daniel Radcliffe, who managed to subdue the director Chris Columbus, became the main candidate. However, there was a new unexpected obstacle in the face of Radcliffe's parents, who wanted to provide the son the opportunity to get a normal education. But under the pressure of the Columbus team, and, what's the use of it, parents sacrificed their fabulous fees. Thus, all the actors of "Harry Potter", or rather, the candidates for the main roles, have been determined.

But it is obvious that these three characters did not limit the film. For 8 movies, "Potter" on the set was visited by a huge number of people. Actors "Harry Potter" succeeded one another constantly, but there was also the backbone that remained in the ranks from the first film. The main of them are among Harry's fellow students, Quidditch team members, teaching staff, and, of course, representatives of the dark forces with whom Harry fought throughout his time at the school of sorcery and magic.

So, we need to single out the Weasley family. Harry Potter's best friend, Ron Weasley, was born in an old and large family of wizards. He had 5 brothers and one sister. Throughout the Potteriana, almost without interruption, Ron's parents-Arthur and Molly Weasley (Mark Williams and Julie Walters, respectively) took an active part, the twin brothers Fred and George Weasley (James and Oliver Phelps), Ginny Weasley's sister (Bonnie Wright) .

One of the most important secondary characters throughout the movie was Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton) - sworn enemy of Potter.

Among Harry's fellow students who invariably participated in all parts, it is necessary to mention Neville Dolgopops (Matt Lewis) and Seamus Finnigan (Davon Murray).
And, of course, we can not ignore the teaching staff of Hogwarts: the actors of "Harry Potter" from this cohort fell in love with the film fans especially. This, apparently, is due to the fact that almost all of them have not changed since the very first part.

These are the deans of the faculties Slytherin, Severus Snegge, and Gryffindor, Minerva McGonagall (Alan Rickman and Maggie Smith respectively).

Well, in the end, it is necessary to mention the main opponents of Harry. The actors of "Harry Potter", who had the duty to play the role of the main villains, coped with their task brilliantly.
