The pilot series of the Brazilian series "The New Victim", the actors of which showed the spectators of several countries a police story, went to the Russian screens on July 15, 1996. He spoke for a moment, he leaves his workplace very quickly. He sits down in the elevator. It is noticeable that Soares is worried and in a hurry. He descends and goes out into the street, where he immediately tries to catch the car. But suddenly a black car knocked him to death. From this begins a horrific series of murders that occur according to a mysterious Chinese horoscope.

At first, the viewers get the impression that there is no connection between the victims. But it turns out that they all have one secret, which is associated with an event that happened many years ago. After all, all the victims were once complicit in one crime. The tangled ball of intricate events is trying to unravel the daughter of one of the victims - Irene.

Storylines

For its time, the story of the sensational Brazilian series "The New Victim," whose actors were selected very carefully, was quite innovative and unusual. In it, apart from the standard melodrama, there is also a serious detective line, which strongly resembles that described by Agatha Christie in The Ten Negroes. Here, too, there is a list of all future victims. Only they, unlike the poem by Christie, are a list of animals of the Chinese horoscope.

The authors of the telenovela brought here a lot of sore topics in the society: in the series one can see adultery; Love that occurs between people very young and come to the middle of their life path; Did not ignore the problems of prostitution, drug addiction, homosexuality and others.

The actors were so convincing that it seemed that everything that was happening on the screen was true. The reality turned out to be next. The original Brazilian version of 1995 presents viewers with a single killer. But in the "export" version of the telenovela the killer turns out to be a completely different person.

A change in the ending happened that's why. To buy this series many TV companies expressed their ardent desire. They liked everything except his graduation. The opinion was expressed that the solution is unconvincing. It turned out that the authors of the series also do not really perceive the finale, which was shown in Brazil. So, the series "The New Victim" was slightly changed. The actors finished this story a little. Therefore, some concessions were made: exclusively for the European audience, the final series was withdrawn again. And in this version of events the killer was a completely different person.

Competition on the series

When ORT launched one of the most famous Brazilian TV series, the film almost instantly received the highest rating. For 20 years he meets a simple, kind woman, Ana Carvalho (Suzana Vieira), who gave him three wonderful children. She owns a small pizzeria, loves Marcelo and lives with hopes that he will marry her. So suddenly the story in the telenovela "The New Victim" turns. The actors tried to play in such a way that no one doubted that everything that was happening on the screen was a cruel reality.

But Marcelo has very different plans, because if he divorces from Francesca, he will leave the family without means of subsistence. In addition, he has a young mistress Isabella, the daughter of the youngest of her sisters, Carmela. Even when the wife dies, Marcelo is not going to marry Ana.
