The boys were born in 1989 with an interval of 10 minutes in one of the mediocre German families. Soon after the parents divorce they receive an extraordinary stepfather. The mother of future celebrities quickly finds herself a new life partner and leads a soloist of one of the local rock bands into the house. Tom and Bill grew up in a happy family and even after the divorce of the mother and father, the guys did not feel the lack of attention. They did not have to run away from home in pursuit of happiness or suffer any deprivation in childhood and in adolescence. In the rock culture they were not led by rebelliousness, namely music and love for it.

When the guys have already started to manage the guitar perfectly, they get acquainted with other musicians and decide to create a collective, later received the final name - Tokio Hotel.
